Hm, have you tried Magic the Gathering?
Could get expensive if you play paper but MtG Online is cheaper, and a free game called Magic the gathering Arena is coming out soon
It's honestly really fun, nothing beats playing a group game with friends and watching the politics unfold as you slag each other off

Have you tried indie/doujin japanese games? Those are a trip! They often dabble into things that you don't really see in western games. That or they're unredeemable garbage fires, but that's fun too
