Yeah, my biggest fear was pretty much confirmed by going with the "half the roster is just SF2" option. At least Mika looks cool.

Basic pattern recognition and deduction. There are three color blocks. Each block follows a pattern (green only has SF2 characters who were also in SF4, blue only has returning characters who weren't in SF4, purple is obviously denoting the new characters). The color coding is obviously there...

Guess she has a different neutral throw animation on crouching opponents. Anyone know if that's a new across the board thing for all characters or is it just unique to her? Because if the latter, that's neat.

Disappointment is to be expected when it comes to Capcom. Still holding out hope for Juri but Stone Cold Rainbow Mika looks like a good fallback option for when they let me down.
