    I mean this combo in particular is lights only and wall bounces with tech are significantly less + against heavier characters. I like the concept and the combo itself is pretty neat to look at, Hope to see some tech that affects higher weight characters soon from people (including myself).

    Something just feels awkward about wanting to get a hit, and then throwing that hit away to build a resource and throw them full screen, getting a hit in sg is death for some characters like double in a lot of situations so it feels weird being expected to go back to full neutral so much.

    Yeah but having beowulf by himself in his current state seems really dangerous. Like building hype without an assist and retaining it doesn't seem like an easy thing at all alone anymore. I'm not saying he's worthless alone, but I definitely won't be playing him anchor any time soon

    I mean that's true but you could already combo off of it using assists, and at this point it looks like mike is expecting you to combo off it with assists considering the example he showed to explain how he did too much damage used an assist that did just that. So it feels somewhat of a moot...

    I mean yeah when it comes to resource building combos, having excella or A train are going to outperform compared to others, like how squigly can get really good damage + resources using A train assist but not really as much from other assists.
