The Combo Breaker venue is open 24/7 during the weekend. Our venue floor features dedicated setups for our tournament games that are open for casual play when pools aren't in progress (which includes traditional after-hours casuals time). You shouldn't have to cram anyone, anywhere for casuals...

Last minute reg flood hasn't come in yet but I felt y'all should know Skullgirls currently has the second highest registrant grouping of any game at Combo Breaker. If the community winds up part of the usual last minute reg flood to maintain that spot you'll be breaking a ton of expectations...

Your Illinois tournament for 2015 is now equal in size to 2014. Over a month of registration still exists. How big can this get? Has Skullgirls had a 128 man bracket in recent years? BlazBlue last year (main Anime game at the time) was a bit under a 128 man bracket. Would be interesting to see...

Definitely respectable. Combo Breaker doesn't offer special treatment player wise (so I can't preemptively guarantee when you'd play) but its unlikely you'd need to be there before Friday night. I anticipate SG doing well if reg pace keeps up, but I'd be surprised to see it be a 200+ entrant...

The event starts Friday, May 22nd. We're not releasing a schedule until mid-April as registration numbers will determine what games must start on Friday and what games have few enough entrants to start on Saturday. Truthfully any community's "goal" should be to start on Friday. I know a few...

Giordano's even delivers to the venue. Its extremely solid (even if it is a slightly "lasagna disguised as pizza" food stuff). Tons of options though. Pizza and Chicago go well together.

I ran a vote on this and the majority of players wanted single cab. Thats a bit open to change if given good reason, but I'm expecting the "traditional" side-by-side arrangement.
