    Street Fighter V

NIH, plain and simple. I mean Arcsys is basically leading the pack right now with worst possible netcode on a mainstream fighter. Tekken before yesterday's patch worked, but I honestly believe that is less a statement on the netcode and more a statement on how FG netcode affects a slower game...

Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017 Thread

Holy shit... no need to be a douche bag because people want to play a game... especially since you're preemptively doing it. That said, when's PC? I'm just kidding, the game is going to suck anyway. Enjoy your silly Gundam mechs.

    Gaming General Discusison

She's the character that made me realize I don't know shit about Tekken. I kept wondering "when is it my turn" because anytime I tried to make it my turn resulted in disaster. I am stuck between Alisa, Kazumi, or not learning Tekken at all and picking up Yoshi.

Yeah, like Aden and I have said... T7 (at least on PC) seems to have great netcode. I believe it is delay, but I think the slower pace of T7 (something that starts up in 10 frames is blistering fast) and the natural input delay combine to somehow make it work? I really don't understand why it...

    Gaming General Discusison

I've not played Injustice 2, so I won't speak to it... but if it is using MKXL's netcode then it is fantastic. Skullgirls obviously has has fantastic netcode. Killer Instinct has the best netcode I've ever seen in a fighter. SFV's netcode though completely unacceptable in relation to the...

    Gaming General Discusison

Yeah, rollback is really harshin' my enjoyment of Revelator. I get that people really dislike SFV, but I have zero clue how anyone thinks that the netcode for Rev2 is acceptable in this modern era of quality netcode.

    Street Fighter V

I've not really been one to shit on SFV, and I've even been known to defend it. But S2 and S2.5 have really started to shake my faith in Capcom. I was worried about the high damage of S1 because high damage is too swingy and leads to too many upsets. S2 turned that damage to 11.

Painwheel general discussion AKA GET OUT OF MY THREAD

What are you running with Fillia? If you are running a reversal, you could do a lot worse than a lockdown/mix-up tool. Squigly 2hp, Bella copter, Eliza twirl, etc.

    Street Fighter V

I agree with this. Like ChrisG said, you actually feel bad for someone when they are winning vs Balrog because he's well on his way to get vtrigger. But as @digereedoodah pointed out, what's annoying is SFV catches the most amount of shit for any issue endemic to the genre, and it turns into...

    Street Fighter V

Meter gain is fairly quick and you can generally get a full stick per round. I think were I being equitable, the underlying complaint is that vtrigger is too strong (though you'll literally never hear anyone say that about Alex) which has a lot of truth. Rog and Ibuki (and to a much lesser...

    Street Fighter V

I'd like to just add for clarity that the underlying complaint is that damage is too high in SFV when you spend resources... which is bordering on the absurd considering the damage that is allowed in SG when you spend resources. While direct comparisons are a little bit more difficult...
