I think j.HK would probably make for a safer conversion than air bypass. Maybe you can also do this after j.HP xx ad, j.MP(3) > j.HP, c.HP?

The only combo I have right now that corner carries SquigBand is: ... c.HP, j.HK > ad, j.MP(3) > j.HK, j.LP > j.MP(3) > j.HK > ad, j.MK, s.LP ... I'd be interested to know if there's anything more consistent.

Ground Bypass into LP is definitely more practical. Main problem is that you can't use s.LPx3 in the last chain. I've also found c.HP xx L Bypass to be somewhat inconsistent (though I was trying to do it fast enough to link c.LK).

Noticed similar stuff in story mode. During matches the music would play at the correct lowered volume, but it would become loud again a few seconds into cutscenes.

Honestly, you probably won't notice it anyway until you actually do things that require strict timing. The only noticeable difference for me is the timing for Titan Knuckle + H Bypass conversions. I try to leave it on 0 or 1 for consistency, but have no problems upping it against really laggy...
