I like Kai's list. I also agree that EVO should be accounted for because even if it's not an SG event most people would dip from close-dated majors because they'd rather go to EVO. I only wish that there was an event in WC stronger than NWM. Not only does it seriously need a venue upgrade...

I don't know if i'd call it "we blew it" when people made a deliberate choice to attend other events instead? From what I've heard it sounded like most tristate players would rather just save their money to go to another major.

I personally never plan to attend a Big E event (IMO this should be the lineup for this/next year: October/September - CEOtaku Florida is a great place that time of year. Broken Loose has the maneuvers to make SG big here. Do it. November - GUTS 4 GUTS 3 was my all time favorite Skullgirls...

Still tentative but I may be able to attend August 4th salty if i'm in SoCal for the week. Stuff can give me a ride but if I want to stay later it'd be easier if someone else could give me a ride. If your route involves swinging through the Eagle Rock/Occidental College area let me know.
