    Street Fighter V

I'm so glad Focus Attacks are gone.

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

VP is definitely an odd ball in terms of how it handles the difficulty settings. Hell, in some ways "Easy" is more difficult than Normal due to one of the dungeons that was removed from Easy Mode having some very important items in it.

    Rising Thunder [PC]

I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way about Skullgirls. Not much point in getting frustrated over other people enjoying a game you think is bad. That doesn't stop me from giving my opinion though.

I continue to dislike this game but that is just adorable.

I would like to get schooled tonight but it would have to be close to the start of the stream.

Isn't the 2nd screenshot on the London stage though? Its a bit difficult to tell. I mean its certainly possible that there's been no change to the character and they've just updated their lighting engine or whatever.

So Cammy's Face got an update in the Vega build. Either that or the stage lighting has received a major update. Old build on the left and updated one on the right. She looks pretty different but maybe its just the lighting? Its kind of difficult to tell.

weird I guess my memory on that was a bit rusty. Thanks for correcting me.

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Yes but getting sent back 5 minutes to the previous checkpoint with unlimited retries is basically zero penalty for death, which is the point I was trying to make. If you make a game that has a ton of little segments with autosave checkpoints then it makes absolutely no sense to include a...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Save-Anywhere availability is a big reason for this transition. Lets face it needing to get to the next checkpoint to save your progress is a pain in the ass for anybody with a busy life and older gamers who have jobs and kids and what not are a rapidly growing proportion of the gamer...

    Street Fighter V

I've been saying this over and over again in various places and I'm shocked that more people never figured this out while sitting in training mode in the beta for like 10 hours. In SF4 once you get below 50% health the damage you take starts scaling down. At 49% health you take 99% damage, at...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

In order to get the final "True" ending to Darksouls 2 you need to buy the remastered edition version of the game with all the DLC content included (which was previously released individually). That's the only example of main-story DLC that I can think of though.

Its the same with SF4 Ryu's cr.MK tbh. However, her sweep is special cancelable which is a pretty big deal.

The burst meter only builds when you take damage. You actually build Kinetic Meter way faster with the other one selected.

    Rising Thunder [PC]

Played a bunch more today. If it was just about the poorly executed Kinetic Meter mechanics, nonsensically hiding information from the player and being too much like SF4 I could see myself getting some enjoyment out of it despite its faults. But the weak grounded normals, slow movement and...

    Rising Thunder [PC]

FYI Edge's Alpha special does good damage, its safe on block, does good chip and lets you end combos with your opponent standing which is neat. Its pretty much his best special move. Also on-hit it powers up his dragon punch with the button followups. At 3 stocks the dragon punch does a...

    Rising Thunder [PC]

Played it a bunch today. Overall I'm not really impressed. They took out special move inputs to make it better for casual players but then there's a bunch of tight links in the game with no input buffers. Wakeup Reversal canceled into the Kinetic Advance or whatever its called is safe and leads...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

If I could make one feature request for this game it would be to have a difficulty-setting. Every single player game needs difficulty settings.
