Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Yeah I'm talking for people that aren't already into it. People need condensed information to get them up to that point. Plus it gives websites an excuse to keep talking about the project.

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Something needs to change while it still can, I don't know what exactly, but it's clear that just posting stuff on social media isn't enough. Streaming is cool but I don't think it does much for people that aren't already invested in the project. There needs to be more short bite sized media for...

    Them's Fightin' Herds

24f is react able. Can't say I'm a fan of that. Looks like velvets super has a freezing effect so you can continue your combo.

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Took me 40 minutes, a lot of it on that last bit. "That" part scared the shit out of me even though I was completely expecting it. Once you get a handle on the defensive systems it feels really good. Kind of ended up button mashing the combos and I'm not totally understanding how super...

    Street Fighter V

If skullgirls was changed so that nothing ever felt frustrating or oppressive, it would be a much worse and much shallower game. I never feel good when I get hard zoned by a peacock. But you know, I don't think there's anything that feels better than beating a good peacock player.

    Street Fighter V

Exactly. Winning is fun and losing sucks. It's an inherent part of competitive games, you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

I'm a big fan of seeing assets re used in creative ways, palette swaps really don't bother me as long as it offers something new gameplay wise.

    Them's Fightin' Herds

goats are a pretty wide spread group, I know for one that a lot of middle eastern food uses goat milk extensively.

    Them's Fightin' Herds

seems like the goat stretch goal is the character that got rid of the carnivores originally.

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

I've played like a single match of marvel 2 in an arcade, and this was after I had played skullgirls. I've never owned a psp, the first sony console I got was a ps3 like last year. My backlog is so massive there's no way I can commit to playing a 40+ hour game just to know whether indivisible is...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

My question wasn't are you planning it was how are you planning on making the game good, and I think that's an important distinction. It would be like asking any other dev how they plan to make their game good. Yes I know mike's a good designer, I trust him to make a good game for somebody, but...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

There were a lot of things I wanted to respond to in his post and I wanted to make sure I was responding to each individual thing. I'm not super formating savvy so it was either that or quote his entire text. The game that came out when I was 6 on a console I didn't know existed at the time...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Reading a bunch of BS ending in a question that doesn't really apply because it's based on the BS is not fun for me, nor do I imagine it's fun for anyone else. :^P All I knew is that the game is an RPG like valkeria chronicles, which I've never played. I've watched all the footage that's been...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

What's the nuance in P3s combat? Good RPG combat can definitely have nuance, I just think it's rare. In a fighting game the path of least resistance is constantly changing and there's a premium on decision making. In many of the RPGs I've played, not so much.

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

@Mike_Z "Are there any systems you have in mind to keep combat varied and strategic?" Did you actually just write a whole paragraph of assumptions about how the game works and then ask if I've come up with anything to keep the combat interesting without even having SEEN COMBAT? I mean I did...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

I can't wait for the prototype to drop. I'm feeling kinda mixed on the game right now cause on the one hand I love platformers, but on the other I've played very few RPGs where the combat is anything more than a chore. 9 times out of 10 I would take an action game like a megaman or a...
