    It is also insanely hard to safe jump with the sheer amount of wakeup timings available in this game. I think it actually helps Crow a lot. because I can get away from a lot more situations than I could before.

    Normals don't need more range, walk speed should be higher. If you gave things like Crow 5H or Chel 2H more range, the characters would be ridiculous.

    I can't figure out how it works exactly, because I have ended rounds with varying amounts of meter using Deflect. You always go back to 50% if over it after a round though it seems, so you should mostly always use a burst per round at least.

    If you lose super hard you get about 1 and a bit, if if it is more even, you get quite a bit. I am bursting about 3 to 5 times per best of 3 usually.

    Yes but that's because SG bursts are baitable, very baitable. Rising Thunder bursts are not, you tend to get 2 a round and no penalty for using them. You can cut down a LOT of effective damage. With how damage scaling is in this game, you generally don't lose too much damage per combo either...

    I don't really know how you can think that. Bursts are just about the most powerful mechanic in fighting games, the bursts in Rising Thunder are cheap cheap cheap. Advance is fun, sure, but in the long run I can't see it being a viable choice if bursts stay as cheap as they are now.
