Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

The weapon design itself was inspired by a Russian-designed revolver shotgun, though Alex made some tweaks from my original to give it a more noticeable silhouette. I love break action designs, but we'll see if it needs to function more like a swing. Speaking of which, would people like to...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

There's no money. We need money to operate. Getting Indivisible would get us money. It's not that we don't want to do Skullgirls 2 now, it's rather that we cannot do Skullgirls 2 right now.

Uh, I guess he could design it, but I'd think the rest of us would want it to finalize it into something recognizable.

There is currently a mixup with the 60 and 75 dollar tier; I'm trying to clear this up right now.

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

This is totally going off-topic, but I'll speak as a person who sells every year at Artist Alley, and there's always a bunch of misconceptions about this. Fan art is somewhat a grey zone for both parties, but it is generally too much effort for the rights holder to actively enforce all...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Once we have the time and money, I think we should be able make a much more comprehensive and versatile texture library that will help make the environment look less disparate, and possibly be able to touch up the baked shadows by hand. As for now, we don't have such luxuries for the prototype.

I can't speak for the final design decision, but we could do limited camera motion in-game if the scene called for it. I doubt we would need or want the camera to be player-controlled, though.

Those colors are all placeholders, stolen from existing Skullgirls characters when I didn't have any in-game assets to test them on. :]

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Bravely Default was designed to play like an old JRPG, so it sure played like a dated JRPG. Frequency encounter and battle speed sliders weren't even available in the original JP release.

    That's a lot of generalizations you're making.

I kinda wish they had done a Wii U release

It was a possibility in the sense that if someone approached us with a large sum of money and asked us to make it. So actually, zero possibility.
