Painwheel MDE Combo Thread (Page 3 Onwards)

These combos moisten my brow. Edit: I can only milk an extra 11 damage out of this with a corner-carry version.

    King of Fighters - General

The art and animation looks pretty uninspired. If they don't fix it up, I really don't see anyone playing this.

    Street Fighter V

Rashid, depending on how they deal with the frame data on his tools, is looking to be very strong. His hopping HK crush counters, and his projectile looks like it will be very plus when done meaty. Also, divekicks from special-cancellable normals.

    Them's Fightin' Herds

I'm gonna lab the shit out of this and I think I've seen half an episode of MLP. I'll train, in secret, then silently walk over from the SF and GG stations and bust out my fabulous rainbow deerelfthing technology.

    Guilty Gear Thread

GG has lots of fun, cathartic systems exclusive to GG, YRCs included (Everyone is Dio for 25 meter). I also find the pace more fun than BB.

    Rising Thunder [PC]

I was talking about fireball xx super as an antiair at mid range, sorry.

    Rising Thunder [PC]

Whenever I play her I anti-air with Fireball xx Slow Super if it's not super deep. You're not worried about trades because fireball startup disappears. Also, I'm pretty sure you're not locked into your blocking animation and that there are no Crow unblockables...

    Rising Thunder [PC]

Can't you Fireball xx Super at like any point in the fireball startup? It also anti-airs. KOF has both. Or... you know... he beats them. 60/40 chance? Is this dice? If you try to grab in their invuln frames, you lose. If you don't, you win. That's how fighting games work. That's how grabs...

    Rising Thunder [PC]

    He does have invuln.

    Rising Thunder [PC]

Actually, you're probably well and invincible all the way through your active frames. The problem is the invuln of other moves are far longer than that. Talos' Overdrive will eat through stray pokes, but lose to invincible moves.

You're suggesting to change the supers completely in order to balance them so the cinematic freeze can be done away with. That's different. As it stands the supers, as they are currently designed, should have a cinematic freeze. Also, both Chel and Crow's supers are advantageous with KADC, and...

    Rising Thunder [PC]

I really don't see the difference here. Sorry. Characters can anti-air with their supers if they're high enough in their jump arc. Supers win out if someone's already hit a button and not before they hit a button (The cinematic makes random supers less likely to work). In SG, supers have a much...

VLAD MATCHUPS (Grain of Salt pls) Vlad v. Chel - 6.5-3.5 Chel Chel can OS DP vs. Vlad's empty low option, meaning all mixups now involve hard DP baits. Vlad has some OS potential of his own, but it won't work of fly cancels with the speed of Chel's S2.2. Chel wins neutral and wins mid-range...

    Rising Thunder [PC]

One of the biggest complaints about SG back in the day was the fact that all supers were instantaneous post flash. They were even toned down substantially from launch because they were super dumb nuggets. Like Isa said, you can't have supers activate first frame post-flash and not suffer from...

    Vlad's is amazing.

    Rising Thunder [PC]

Er. This move is actually amazing and shits all over Vlad. You can use it as an anti-air.

The super has more invuln than your DP by a large margin.
