If your talking about the non Japanese players they did with their imported copies for awhile, but two months after the localization of vanilla dropped most of the community moved to Ignition by now.

The argument is console gamers [particuarly for localizations on games that don't even have a PC version made in Japan like DR 1 for years] are more likely to play full price for shit at day/week 1 especially when you consider LE packages that cost more then full retail. PC gamers in comparison...

It is a only Playstation thing at least in Japan when your not counting the smartphone. It should be obvious when the new DR wasn't announced for PC at the same time as Vita/PS4. The PC port for the first game is barely happening because the West actually cares enough about PC and it's been long...

They hinted about it with a leaked list of upcoming PC games for awhile. Funny thing there has been a smartphone port for ages already.

Not surprised considering there haven't been much word on whether the Vita version is done yet let alone ready for Japan to distribute. Hasn't been released even here yet.
