    There really isn't a practical use for backdash double jump in a combo because of the angle of val's forward dash. Unless you need that increased height faster than the time you would have to wait for the airdash to rise to that height, but I don't know of anything that would require that...

    If you want to learn crazy corner pressure with val+hornet bomber you can check out duck vs me in his archive, most of those games were me getting fucked by corner set ups. s.hp is surprisingly good in this area.

    I'm a fan of every change other than the super nerf. Headless fortune is still a fun puppet character despite nerfs, and head on is pretty much a net neutral for me. I need to start messing around with s.hp more though because it seems nice.

    s.hp is sensitive to distance, and fortune has a pretty long cr.lk range that will give you many hitts that wouldn't properly confirm into fiber loops off of s.hp. I prefer not to judge if the s.hp will make the fiber upper whiff while I am hit confirming. Sure it is possible. I will admit that...

    All the fibers go from the same angle, all of them whiff from st.hp and the distance where it does hit is very unforgiving. Using st.hk isn't the worst thing in the world, just do 2 hits.
