It feels to me that some of those animations are like Capcom made some production sketches of moves that looked good in 2D but when 3D animated don't really translate well at all.

What we got from most of the cast was fine, except Sol was not that good, which is a problem since he is the main character. Oddly enough, his performance during the Fred flashbacks was fine, so I'm thinking the direction was the main issue as well.

Honestly, having seen almost all these actors having great performances in other productions, its pretty easy to catch when its all on the voice director just not getting it right.

in sorta related news (but more general dragonball news), apparently the new xenoverse stuff has dub lines for jiren so look forward to that whenever he gets added to dbfz.

Same thing pretty much happened with Arc's Hokuto game (just Mamiya) and Capcom's Jojo fighter (only Mariah was shown in the original manga and they had Araki make up a design for Midler since she was almost entirely off screen.) Makes me think that whenever Arc gets around to making anyone...

how is the game? i saw it was out and was wondering if this counts as open early access or something? i was looking up some vids and some characters had some unfinished art (like the SG DLCs when they were still being made)

I had a random idea that Viola is a time traveling Amy sent back in time to prevent Raphael from getting the Soul Edge since his using it in a more subtle way via creating proxy conflicts (rather than Seig's plan of "travel around the countryside and break stuff") is horrifically more effective.

Zas is good except for those shoulders, but its fine to me. Ivy's default continues to not be her much much better fancy pirate outfits she gets as 2P. :/

I honestly think we Arc wasn't able to use any characters introduced in the tournament of power because that story line isn't over yet. And I want Kale and Cali to get their own separate character spots. I really don't understand why anyone would want only their fusion available.

They need a hideous alt. color to represent Bio-Broly Between Blazblue tag battle and DBFZ at EVO, all we need now is a Touhou fighter on stage to finally simulate the true SaltyBet experience

At least Broly opens things up for all the movie characters. Janemba and Dr. Wheelo plz. Turles alt. color for Bardock, obviously.
