I've made peace with the fact that this will never happen, even if FF9 is one of my favorite games. I honestly still think that game looks and plays great though. I feel like it's aged really well overall. But I never really bring it up in real discussion cuz I know I'm hugely biased towards it =\

Eeeeeeeeeehhhh.... I don't really agree. I mean, yes, there is very little original content being produced by big developers, but I'm not convinced (and I don't think said anything to convince me) that this is "killing the industry". I mean, this isn't even solely a video game issue, for one...

Thanks for the reminder! On topic: I'm pretty excited about KI coming to PC. I've seen a fair amount of that game played and have really wanted to try it out, but I don't have an XBone. Since the game is on PC, will it function with older controllers? That whole controller issue is only related...

Well, they flat out ignored Metroid's 25th, so I'm not surprised (REALLY sad, but not surprised). Guess it's up to the fans to do something worthwhile. Again. Maybe AM2R will be done in time.

I think it was mentioned somewhere that Nintendo said they wouldn't be showing it this year? Probably because it's nowhere near ready yet (which I'm fine with, honestly. I think people were expecting a release at the end of this year, which I thought was WAY too soon based on what's been shown...

Star Ocean 4 was a prequel, I guess. They showed it first, and everything else was chronological.

Not sure if you saw the direct or not, but the Metroid they announced was closer to Hunters (if even that) than an actual prime game =/
