    The Crucible of Frame Datas

Hey check this out! http://wiki.shoryuken.com/Skullgirls/Ms._Fortune#Move_List Fortune hasn't seen a comprehensive frame data review since 3 patches ago, but now she's current! I think? Tell me I'm wrong, I dare you!

    The Crucible of Frame Datas

This is now the thread where I post about my updates to the SRK wiki. Big Band was recently finished will all of his frame data actually right for the first time! http://wiki.shoryuken.com/Skullgirls/BigBand#Move_List Cerebella was the last old character I extensively proofread or revised...

    Taunted SSJ bug?

Taunted SSJ works like this on hit: 4 charge hits, 12 tubas, 1 final tuba And like this on block: 3 charge hits, 12 tubas, 1 final tuba The standard version has 3 identical charge hits then the 4th larger charge hit that causes the knockdown. The taunted version looks as if it repeats the 3rd...

    Skullgirls PC Beta Updates Discussion

Holy crap thanks! That was fast! If I was not clear, before this fix every move in the game would display as 1 more frame negative than it should have been on whiff. To actually notice this you would have to count up the squares. I did. I did a lot. I made a little scale out of a piece of paper...

    Skullgirls PC Beta Updates Discussion

Hey, thanks! Just to prove I've stared at it more than anyone else, here are my top 3 requests to improve the in game FD display: 1) Fix the bottom of the screen numbers so they are not always -1 off of the total on whiff. 2) Don't count super flash frames in the numeric frame data display. 3)...

    The Palettes of Skullgirls

So the new palettes are I-no and Velvet from Odin Sphere?

    Skullgirls PC Beta Updates Discussion

I'd like that change because it would have a general property like http://wiki.shoryuken.com/File:Softknockdown.png all air knockdown normals.

    Skullgirls PC Beta Updates Discussion

Now that (I think) the dust has settled on Fukua, what exactly has changed for the start up of BFF? I see 29+6f of fully invulnerable start up in both retail and beta versions. A standard ground throw is 7f start up, 1f active, and 28f recovery, so if the opponent is 2f or more into the start...

Media Valentine Character Guide by Ashxu

"Valentine preforms best on a team, either by coming out strong with an anti-air Ensemble as backup or by playing anchor and burning meter with her many Blockbusters. If her teammates go out first, Valentine will be happy to use their Dramatic Tension (and maybe even their corpses) as the last...

If Are Your Ready For? Edition was an intended reference to something or it was just Ravidrath making a typo and running with it, we shall never know.

Media Valentine Character Guide by Ashxu

This was clearly too much work to get 0 replies on the news post! In your honor I've updates the SRK wiki page, making sure that all frame data agrees with the in game display and that all of the missing patch changes are in there and accurate to the official notes...

    Salty Updates 18 July 2014

All the characters already have death lines, but they don't play 100% of the time. Cerebella says "Not enough practice," Peacock says "I smell bread," Squigly says "It's not so bad," and Big Band says "Salt peanuts."

Just pretend the double snap music is the Fatal KO music and you're good to go.

    Eliza Assist Discussion

The DPs are pretty poor choices for Ensembles. The HP hits at an awkward distance, the LP hits at a sensible distance but it isn't tall enough to be anti air, and no version has the knockdown that makes Updo and Napalm Pillar so good. Dive of Horace probably works out to be a better anti...

    Basic Mechanics in Skullgirls

For the last 2-3 years I've put a lot of effort into getting all of this stuff clearly written and organized on the SRK wiki. If anyone is interested in reviewing this stuff, either for their own interest or to educate others, I would love any detailed feedback. It has been a while since I've...

    Beowulf Thread: Retiring from Retirement

Now that I think about it, isn't every pro wrestler fighting game character just hitting as hard as possible? Has any character done anything to suggest that the fighting style is based on not actually hurting the other guy?

    Beowulf Thread: Retiring from Retirement

Vader is the epitome strongstyle; a giant white dude doing stuff that looks super brutal against smaller, Japanese opponents that over sell the hits. I don't really see that for Beowulf.
