At the same time, the select UI doesn't really allow for additions without some sort of visual overhaul; it's what happens when you have an expansive roster. Skullgirls, however, doesn't suffer from this, so treating it like it does, makes no sense.

If Big Band doesn't already have it, Fukua needs a Michael Jackson palette.

At the same time, keeping Fukua as part of the main UI would actually make the entire roster perfectly symmetrical once the rest of the DLC characters are released.

BB can parry her fireball for days. Bella can deflect hella easy thanks to the startup buff she got. Armor grab can be counter-grabbed and swept. She can't airdash, so she has to focus on punishing mistakes and bad assist calls. On her own, she has her work cut out for her and she's a lot less...

Except that 40 hits of armor loses to sweeps and countergrabs. She's not as amazing as people are making her out to be. She's got her charm, and I have no problem playing as her, but she's not ST Akuma tier. Nowhere NEAR it.

This. Also, I don't know any other game that has a zoner/grappler hybrid, except for maybe Injustice w/ Solomon Grundy, apparently.

Mike said he'd work on that, and would do her loading art himself if he had to. Also, until the official Announcer VA is contacted, I think one of our forum regulars will be contributing to her name call.
