    I really like how combo starters with assists scale combos down 50%, but it being a counterhit isn't such a spectacular feat that it scales 90%. If any bonus it should be 60%. It's gotten so little attention I'm wondering if it's worth starting a thread just for assist-start combos.

    The only thing I'd really like to see changed is counterhit assists doing 90% combos- should be closer to regular assist combo start.     Think of it this way: old IPS was about how you start the combo chains; now IPS is about where the chain leads to. So before you could do those loops you mentioned so long as each loop string started with a different opener. Now you can use whatever opener (?) as long as the next chain ends with...
