    Street Fighter V

Probably because they consider him to be from Alpha now. Same way that Gen was seemingly lumped in with other Alpha characters in SFIV. Also, while there was speculation that the green area is for returning characters who were in IV, having another SF2 vet announced (Vega) seems to point...

    Street Fighter V

From the looks of it, we're getting 8 SFII characters, 4 Alpha characters and 4 new ones. At least based on the grouping and color coding from the SDCC/Evo presentation. Now for more technical stuff. Regarding damage in the game, individual pokes and specials seem to actually be doing damage...

    Rising Thunder [PC]

I meant that SFIV players are complaining that they can't make their DPs safe in V.

    Rising Thunder [PC]

But Yata doesn't move like SFIV (it's more like 3S), so you don't get SFIV syndrome where characters sit up close and mash lights. With the slower movement, you can get that situation at times in this game, especially with some characters like Dauntless or Edge who can chain 2 or 3 crouching...

    Rising Thunder [PC]

Gawd, that's actually the same complaint that they're crying about for SFV. Actually, the game itself does feel like it borrows alot from SFIV, while trying to address some of that game's issues. I wonder if one of Seth's intentions was to make a game similar to IV while fixing some the things...

    Rising Thunder [PC]

Got in, tried the alpha today. Runs slow on my 3 year old laptop (which was an upper mid-range gaming laptop when it came out). Even at lowest settings, it dips from 59fps to 10fps when you activate super. Also, playing on keyboard only as both my TE2 and my HRAP aren't supported. Apparently it...

    Street Fighter V

As I said, never tested this. It was one of those things that you hear somebody say and just assume that it's probably true.

    Street Fighter V

Yeah, Alpha 3 major counters is probably what I was thinking about, not 3S. That's what I get for posting as butt-o'clock in the morning here. EDIT: Actually, I think I know where I got confused. I remember somewhere where Rock was asking either Amir or Sextaro about counterhit doing more stun...

    Street Fighter V

Actually, this isn't really a new thing for Street Fighter. Counter hits also gave more stun in 3rd Strike.

    Street Fighter V

Curious as to @Mike_Z 's thoughts on how they're dealing with crouch tech OS, which is basically allowing throw techs while crouched but not allowing low short (or jab) when 2LP+LK is pressed (hitting 2LP+LK gives you the throw animation).

    Street Fighter V

Honestly, I want Urien with Aegis as his V-Trigger. Even if he no longer has the unblockable setups, the mixups he could get would still be quite interesting. EDIT: The garbage Ono has been tweeting is obviously a hint for Cody. The garbage is his V-Trigger where garbage spawns around the stage...

    Street Fighter V

With things like backdashes no longer being hit invulnerable as well as less hard knockdowns (only supers and throws now) with 2 kinds of ground techs. It looks like they're finally fixing things that should have been fixed in SFIV.

    Street Fighter V

While I can't exactly give concrete details, since we're supposed to be under embargo until tomorrow. That article doesn't give the complete picture and some of the details are slightly off. That said, I can give a small hint: you no longer need to mentally count stun.

    Street Fighter V

People talking about characters and lore instead of mechanics and stuff. I thought this was a fighting game forum. In any case. http://shoryuken.com/2015/06/04/vesper-arcade-breaks-down-m-bisons-street-fighter-v-trailer/ Also, for anyone who wants a chance to go to E3...

PS4 Looking for Dualshock 3 driver help for PS4.

Since Capcom is supposedly considering the driver for Street Fighter V, any chance @Mike_Z or Peter or anyone can send a word in on making sure it works the proper way in that game?
