    Street Fighter V

Most people don't exactly play these characters for personality (I picked Chun in 3S because she had majority 6:4 and 7:3 match ups in her favor).

    Street Fighter V

Really hoping that the polls on EventScrubs and Unity aren't taken into consideration. They've make for a horribly bad cast with mostly rushdown characters and a few counter zoners, but no true zoners/keepaway and grapplers.

More excited about Peacock being able to teleport behind while assists are out.

    Skullheart's changes.

Well if you want a fighting game forum where you can spend most of your time not talking about fighting games, there's always Shoryuken.

    Street Fighter V

Honestly, there are a few more important things that need to be worked on over characters. The biggest being making sure that the game doesn't have the same weird input buffer as IV which resulting in alot of option selects that wouldn't normally be in SF. I mean, yes the engine is new (UE4)...

Personally, I'm just happy that we didn't see any point blank jab confirm fishing (and that lights seemed to be terrible compared to mediums) in the stage demo.

I'll see your TOD video and raise you Tominaga.

Spotlight Skullgirls with 6 Buttons or 8 Buttons?

Wiz has banned this at EVO. UFGT is the outlier as most folks stick to EVO rules (and it doesn't matter anymore since there's no more UFGT). Also, by verbal agreement, most of the top stick modders and builders will now outright refuse to do this to your arcade stick.

Spotlight Skullgirls with 6 Buttons or 8 Buttons?

Issues regarding this have been discussed in SRK's Tech Talk before. On of the main reasons why you don't generally see a macro ban is that it would be a logistics nightmare to have to check each and every stick/config for macros. With this in mind, doing this on a software level might be a...

Report Skullgirls Encore to receive Japanese arcade loctest from November 28-30!

Well I don't think we're at the point where that's completely necessary since I don't believe the game is even close to having a situation like what MvC:O had where the general consensus was that 1 button dashes where affecting the game's balance. On a somewhat related note, I do recall having...

Report Skullgirls Encore to receive Japanese arcade loctest from November 28-30!

This whole macro argument reminds me of when MSH and MVC were rereleased as MVC:Origins and many veteran arcade players like SpiderDan were vehemently against dash macros being added to the game newer while players from GGPO demanded it. One of the main reasons being that one button dashes made...

Report Skullgirls Encore to receive Japanese arcade loctest from November 28-30!

The thing to consider with most 4 buttons games with swappable layouts is that there have been multiple default 4 button layouts (and panels) throughout the history of arcade fighting games. Some had the flatter Neo-Geo layout, others had the 2x2 layout while more and more games now use the...

Report Skullgirls Encore to receive Japanese arcade loctest from November 28-30!

Recording is usually taboo in Japanese arcades. So he's probably just not used to having people doing it there.

Was anyone actually able to capture any more videos aside from those from Fychan?

Standard JAMMA is actually just 4 buttons. 6 buttons requires a special harness to enable it.

Betawulf Reigns Supreme! More like Alphawolf! check CaioLugon's thread which will be more updated!

You should do these on 2v2 or 1v1 since 3v3 has that 1.30 damage multiplier. These are actually doing only about 6.3k damage.

    Beta Wulf Discussion

Am I the only one that thinks that Beowulf needs a way to be able to grab chairs that are in the corner that he normally wouldn't be able to due to the size of his opponent? Heck, even with some normal sized characters, trying to grab the chair can get a bit hit of miss.
