    Peacock Combo Thread

The first post in the thread has been overhauled in the same style as Parasoul and Robo Fortune's combo threads. Hopefully it'll be a useful resource for people who want to pick up Peacock c:

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

He means puppet-style animation, also known as paper-doll style animation. It's what Vanillaware does. They save the different pieces of their characters as separate images and animate them by moving, rotating and stretching those pieces separately like old Treasure bosses instead of hand...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

They could TECHNICALLY make the whole game 3D models and then everything could be swapped out and nothing would be hand animated. But like you said, 3D weapons would be a lot of extra work and less animation fidelity for the payoff of...being able to switch in a different looking spear.

LGS is this Saturday. Please use the RSVP thing to say if you can come or not, and I'll see you there! Combo Breaker is next month so I'm gonna be training as hard as I can c:

    Mr Peck's Comical Character Crisis

I always forget that's an option! I really need to do that more.

    Mr Peck's Comical Character Crisis

I haven't had a lot of free time recently but that's starting to change, so I've been trying to improve as much as I can. I almost lost to Sanji in Skullbats top 8 last weekend so I put some training mode time into finding ways to deal with Beowulf's tools. I have lots of ideas for how I want to...

Europe [Sep 9, 2017] London Games Society (LGS) monthlies (London, England)

Possibly not, unless you're already going to London for another reason? It lasts for 7 hours and usually has 4-7 Skullgirls players, so most people usually don't travel for more than an hour or two to get there. Revo 2016, on the other hand, should be worth attending. It's 7 months away but...

    [Nov 18, 2016] Revolution 2016 (London, England)

My back of a napkin estimate was about 30 EU entrants for Skullgirls; 15 from the UK, 5-10 from France, and 5-10 from the rest of Europe. It would be amazing if you (or any other international players) could make it over too!

SIGN UP HERE: http://ngi-revolution.co.uk/event-information/ Player list: http://ngi-revolution.co.uk/player-list/ The venue can only fit 150 people, so register ASAP if you want to attend! Revolution 2015 was pretty great. A whole bunch of players from all around Europe (and a few from...

    Street Fighter V

It makes it easier to hook it up to games made in the Unreal Engine, I assume. You wouldn't use it with a non-Unreal Engine game.

USA [May 27-29] Combo Breaker 2016 (Chicago, IL)

Just chiming in to say that me and @Grodie are getting there on Wednesday too, to get an extra day of playing casuals and eating hot dogs and getting used to the time difference.

    [Mar 12, 2016] Angel's Duel 2016 (London, England)

From the other people I've talked to, it seems like pretty much everyone is busy on Saturday. I'm gonna stay at home too in that case, because I have a hell of a lot of work to do over the weekend and I don't want to end up being the only person there for BYOC SG. See you at April's LGS monthly!

    Applied Science in the Field

There's lots of really helpful advice in there, and a decent amount of it applies to lots of players. Thanks for posting it!

That really rubbed me the wrong way too. It wouldn't seem too out of place on here: http://ourincrediblejourney.tumblr.com/

    Mr Peck's Comical Character Crisis

I've been watching my replays and I think you're right. I'm calling it the way I used to call bomber and hairball, when I should be taking the extra startup into account and calling it as early as possible in neutral. Obviously there are risks that come with that, but it's a good start. As for...

    Mr Peck's Comical Character Crisis

It's more that once I block brass or a tear explosion, even from fullscreen, I struggle to escape from being locked down by brass + projectiles. there are gaps in the pressure that are big enough for me to call an invincible or armored assist, or one with a fast startup, but nowhere near big...

    Mr Peck's Comical Character Crisis

I lost to zeknife 0-5 in his kumite with my normal team (Peacock/Pillar/H Beam), and he said on the stream that he didn't think it could deal with his team (Parasoul/Squig/Brass). I asked him about it on Steam: 21:33 - Mr Peck: im watchng our set from the kumite 21:34 - Mr Peck: and you said...
