    Magic: The Gathering

Oh yeah, normally that wins easy. Then you have to build a deck specifically to counter it, like with lots of protection from red and counterspells.

    Magic: The Gathering

...And that's when life gaining comes in handy. Usually though, you want a way to put your opponent on the defensive.

    Magic: The Gathering

Life gain can work as a strategy just fine, as long as it doesn't distract from your offensive game. If you plan on playing defensively, then I'd recommend blue or white emphasis. No color can win alone.

    Magic: The Gathering

There's no foolproof strategy, really. It's probably best to use your deck and retool it afterwards. It takes time to get its strengths and weaknesses, and it depends a lot on your opponents, too.

    Magic: The Gathering

Every color has its strengths and weaknesses, so you should get a feel for everything. I recommend keeping a budget. Seriously.

    Skullgirls Lore Speculation

We've seen very little of the previous Skullgirl rampages so far. I could see Double sneaking in a meeting with them along the line, myself. This is what I want to know. Maybe I'm off topic, but I think the Renoir family might be less popular than they seem. Leviathan doesn't trust the king...

    Skullgirls Lore Speculation

No, my point is that Vitale wouldn't have let Ms. Fortune swallow it, specifically because he couldn't have known exactly what Dahlia would do to her. What if she had brought Fortune back to Lorenzo for interrogation? What if she had decided to chop her in a different way, and the Gem came...

    Skullgirls Lore Speculation

It sounds to me like your gut is a poor hiding place, when your opponent is known for chopping people up. That's like, the most reckless place ever. There's no way Vitale intended that.

    Skullgirls Lore Speculation

This assumes that Vitale somehow knows more about the properties of the Life Gem than either Black Dahlia or Lorenzo, if he's going to fool them.

Eliza SPOILERS - Eliza Story Mode Discussion

No no no. Aeon did it. She brought a fully-obedient Marie over from another timeline. Yeah, probably not. ... But still, who's to say Gehenna and the Skullheart are the Trinity's only source of power. I'll tell you that ending says otherwise.

Eliza SPOILERS - Eliza Story Mode Discussion

Eliza's story takes place soon after Squigly's begins, right? Her first fight is with Squigly, who had just fought Parasoul, which is when Marie threw the tower at Lorenzo, right? ...So Lorenzo returned to New Meridian and Marie left, apparently.

Eliza SPOILERS - Eliza Story Mode Discussion

I think the blood from Gehenna is special blood. I don't think she can recover her wounds with just any blood.
