Squigly General: Art of the Daisy Pusher

@Dolfinh: Level 1 as in uncharged? Squigly's 5HP~Stancel, 5LP/2LK link isn't too difficult as far as links go, but there are a few things going on that you can look at. Practice the following sequence at a reduced game speed: 5HP~Stance~Cancel, 5LP 5HP into Stance is a cancel. In order to...

Squigly General: Art of the Daisy Pusher

If your opponent pushblocks your SBO, it's very difficult to maneuver back in without the use of an assist. In all likelihood, you're looking at one good approach, and from a non-ideal range as your opponent mashes pushblock. My usual followup is a dash-in 2LK/2MK, depending on range, sometimes...

Squigly General: Art of the Daisy Pusher

@Balder: Don't worry too much about stancels in the beginning. They're a good tool and lead to great mixup potential, but early on, all you really need to worry about is stanceling 2HP and 6HP on reaction to a block or whiff. As for her arsenal, most of her special moveset is massively...

Squigly General: Art of the Daisy Pusher

I usually run a team of three with Squigs in the back, but lately I've been running Squigly [2HP] / Parasoul [Pillar]. Squigly with Pillar behind her is really ripe for abuse, I tell you. Here're a few of the things I do with it: Start a match, call Pillar, and immediately hop backwards in...

Squigly General: Art of the Daisy Pusher

My guess would be the effort required. The specific change of "Dragon's Breath stance before HP Draugen Punch Seria is now invulnerable, non-chargeable, and non-stancelable" is likely a change in frame data, which Mike Z said at some point is easy for him to do. Lab Zero's still busy churning...

Squigly General: Art of the Daisy Pusher

I can't find frame data, but I believe that both uncharged and charged DPs are invulnerable to varying degrees... but both have to go through the entirely vulnerable 12-frame startup of Dragon's Breath. The uncharged version hits once and they recover in the air, whereas the charged version hits...

Squigly General: Art of the Daisy Pusher

That kind of question is reeeally difficult to answer for a relatively new character in a relatively young fighting game with a relatively small community and a relatively recent balance patch, so everyone's going to give you different answers, especially when team composition comes into play...

Squigly General: Art of the Daisy Pusher

This depends on the character, really. Like Tomo said, it's easy to just charge and hop away against some characters (and an especially good idea to charge Silver Chord while fleeing Cerebella), but you can charge mid-combo, as well. Nuuance posted some pretty neat mid-combo charge shenanigans...

    Double general discussion!

Hey, Combo_Knight! I think we played each other yesterday! I just picked up Squigly with the PSN release, so my experience with her is limited, but here's my take on her: I believe she has a problem with opponents approaching her from the air. All her anti-airs are situational: Rigor Mortis...

Squigly General: Art of the Daisy Pusher

It's true that these types of "actual combo" type double-snap combos are pretty reliable (and more intuitive to me), but I just recently learned about intentionally uncomboing during double-snaps and repeatedly resetting proration to limit red-life recovery and meter gain, which sounds like the...

Squigly General: Art of the Daisy Pusher

So what are you guys using for double-snap combos? I saw one of the other guys post a video from endless beta using 5LP 5HK [repeat]. Any others?

    Double general discussion!

As far as online Valentines go, I feel like Undizzy hit her a little harder than the other girls. In SDE, her combos went on for days at a time, and it was easy for me to lose focus and let a reset through. Now most Valentines seem to throw in a jab-walk forward-throw or one of those aerial...

Taking Advantage of Center Stage Assist

@iLoli @Fuzzy_Snugs That's what I'm afraid of. I often read that Center Stage is good as a counter-pick to keep-away Peacock, but I see little else about it in terms of practicality. @Mike_Z Center Stage MP Shot sounds pretty interesting, thanks. I'll try confirming it into Silent Scope and see...

Taking Advantage of Center Stage Assist

I picked up Squigly as soon as she dropped on PSN, and I play her 2nd in my team (Parasoul / Squigly / Cerebella) after reading some advice on the forums, to some modest success online. Now, I'm trying to figure out my ideal assists. In SDE, I ran Parasoul (Napalm Pillar) / Cerebella (Diamond...

Are You Ready For An Encore? Skullgirls Is Finally Back On Consoles!

So, for those of us still waiting on our vouchers: Is Sony currently sending those out? They waited until 9pm-10pm last night to start uploading them to preserve their servers, and I haven't seen any excited "I GOT MINE!!!" posts recently. Does that mean they're going to wait until 9pm-10pm...

    Parasoul Assists/Teambuilding - A Princess needs Servants

Oh, shoot, that was you? Sorry I left so quickly, my roommate and I went out shopping. I was actually talking about using Showstopper whiff mid-combo. Although a cool trick I picked up from TJGamer is to use Motor Brigade from a close range and cancel it into Showstopper if you think they'll...

    Parasoul Assists/Teambuilding - A Princess needs Servants

@shadow0x0cloud With Parasoul, you can end in HP HP MPShot xx Silent Scope and mash Showstopper. Bella pops out as the shot connects and you can link a 2MP before they fully crumple. And to your aside, I play the PS3 version constantly. I can show you my team, if you'd like. PSN ID: Emuchu

    Parasoul Assists/Teambuilding - A Princess needs Servants

For the Para / Bella DHC, I always go with Silent Scope into Showstopper whiff. It avoids the early severe proration of DHCing out of Motor Brigade or into Cat Heads, and saves the pink bounce.

    Parasoul Assists/Teambuilding - A Princess needs Servants

I haven't played with LnL since before SDE; maybe I should check that out... And @IsaVulpes, do you think Bella makes for a stronger anchor than Double? I'm still waiting for SQG to hit consoles, so I haven't played with the changes, yet... @shadow0x0cloud, between Double / Bella [Copter /...
