Looks like the next monthly is August 27th. A ways away, unfortunately, but at least we have a date.

Venue fee for the monthly is usually $10, but this coming monthly is a cook out thing, and they usually charge more since it's supposed to include some food. Entry fee for main games, I believe, is $10 (sf5, marvel) and if we run a tournament for SG, it's $5. Hope you can make it!

Awesome. I'll talk to you guys there about the uber and we can figure it out then. And yeah, my fear is being SOL (found out the day after registration closed that I could possibly go), but hey, we'll see! If not, it'll be great to just be there.

Looks like I'll finally be making it to Combo Breaker. Hopefully there will be room to enter to tournament via emergency registration. Anyone arriving late Wednesday (in at 10 PM) or leaving early Monday (flight at 8:25 AM) interested in sharing an uber?

Found another thing related to Val's vial stuff: The palette effect also isn't applied to Beo's chair, but that seems intentional since, well, it's a chair.

Seeing this made me want to test Grab Bag and see if it had the same properties. The results: If you try to punish Bella after she falls to the ground with a hit, nothing. But, if you punish it on the ground with a grab, you get the counterhit. Punishing it while Bella's still in the air...
