Kill la Kill *WARNING SPOILERS EDITION*

Pretty sure if we had a choice on who to entrust with making a Kill la Kill game that's as zany as the show, it's gotta be Platinum Games.

Kill la Kill *WARNING SPOILERS EDITION*

Looks like we're now on a seemingly endless rollercoaster. Bravo, Trigger. Bravo.

    Obligatory Hearthstone thread

Dunno. Hearthstone was designed to be played casually on the side. Then people took it too seriously and it became competitive anyway. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ That and I absolutely abhor the comparably slow pacing of traditional TCGs. Infinity Wars is no exception. On the other hand, I can understand...

    Obligatory Hearthstone thread

To be fair, what you start with is actually usable from what I can see. Not the kind of cards that are good enough to crush opponents in a heartbeat, but usable enough to pull you through most of lower ranked play. Though if there were some kind of stat tracker for Hearthstone, I'd be sitting...

    Obligatory Hearthstone thread

Yeah, we kinda already have a Blizzard thread, but that'd probably get jumbled if it ever got active so I figured I'd make dedicated to Hearthstone discussion. Long story short, I suddenly remembered it went into Open Beta so I downloaded it. Pretty damn enjoyable so far even though I am so...

The Big Band MP Song Thread

Kinda doesn't work due to how trumpet works. Shame you can't hold notes! Now I'm interested in seeing Big Band duets for songs that sound too bare with a single trumpet. Now what would impress me would be Usatei. No wait, scratch that. What would impress me would be Night of Nights with Big...

Under the Bridge Work In Progress Stage Music

I mentioned...okay I just approximated how speechless I was in a Big Band thread. Thankfully, I think I now have the words to summarize how I feel about this. The song blew my mind and it's just the WIP version. I'm afraid once the real sax goes in, all my clothes will spontaneously...

One Big Night! One Big Show! One Big Man! One Big Band! General Discussion

Sweet jesus that's.... Wow. My god. (Is it still Michiru Yamane working on the soundtrack for future music?)

One Big Night! One Big Show! One Big Man! One Big Band! General Discussion

Realized I don't browse Skullheart as often as I think I want to. Trumpet freeze followup is amazing, but in my head, it's for all the wrong reasons. It practically elevates trumpet taunting into an artform. Nothing quite screams 'You Suck' like using the trumpet freeze to play nana-nana boo...

STEAMY GOODNESS: talk about games on steam

I got me Bastion, L4D2, Poker Night 2 (I need that turret head for Zer0 in Borderlands 2, personal principle) and Valdis Story. Can't say I touched any of them yet though. Brother and sister are here for the holidays, and that means I don't get a lot of time on my PC.

STEAMY GOODNESS: talk about games on steam

It hiccuped a bit. Brother had trouble getting his vote in because he wants his Snow Globe cards. Thankfully I have something bookmarked for those occasions to make sure it's not just me.

    Your first fighting game. GO!

One of those bootleg Street Fighters on the NES, if that counts. It's the one with Mario in it. After that was Gowcaizer on the PS.

STEAMY GOODNESS: talk about games on steam

Thought I'd chime in and say yes, get it. It's basically what FO3 should have been. Not much I could buy during sale because I'm ultrapoor, but I've been playing lots of Torchlight 2 on Steam after barely touching the game for like a year. Good god is it satisfying. The game's mechanics are...

Level 5 Super as a game changer: how often?

It probably boils down to the point of either reviving an assist and burning all your meter, or retaining it for air scalpels. I'd personally go for the revive for getting back pressure options, but I'm terrible at the game anyway :V

    Skullgirls and Steam Controller?

My only problem so far from a technical standpoint is that the controller just emulates keyboard/mouse instead of being a proper gamepad. It's just more unnecessary config jumping. That aside, I'm not quite sure just yet. It's going to be a bit awkward with using a trackpad as players are used...

The One man Orchestra Pit (Beta thoughts and suggestions)

The huge hitbox in particular is, as I said before, really nasty against Nightmare Marie. Throwing Gigan skulls at you in particular can be pretty painful, as in my experience your extra size makes it hit you a few more times even if you pushblock them. I could be wrong though. So yeah, more...

The One man Orchestra Pit (Beta thoughts and suggestions)

It only helps to close in, but he lacks anything to stunlock Marie apart from Tympani Buster. Yes, I tried j.MK into HK Cymbals, no dice. It's unfortunately terrible when she spawns large amounts of skulls or throws a Gigan at you since at most you'll absorb 3 hits. Not saying it's completely...

The One man Orchestra Pit (Beta thoughts and suggestions)

So I decided to try my hand against Nightmare Marie in arcade with BB solo because I wanted to hear his intro voice and remembered there was barely feedback on fighting against her. It...didn't go too well. I can't parry worth BEEP BOOP MEOW, and his huge size usually gets him hit by everything...

The Big Band MP Song Thread

If anyone recalled, I was trying to figure out a certain song to play out if you could keep the trumpet out after a KO for a song. And I figured it out. No, I won't be making a video. All I can say is that when you play it, you'll figure it out immediately. You did play those games, right? 8HP...
