I think he's basically eluding to the fact that what started off as a thread about an awesome indie game has turned into "Feminism vs. Gamers Part MMMCCXXIV: A New Fedora".

What's your favorite character select theme?

Oh man, I've got a bunch: Tekken 2 Street Fighter Alpha 2/Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo Street Fighter IV (Vanilla) Waku Waku 7 The King of Fighters '97 Marvel vs. Capcom (1) Darkstalkers (1) Killer Instinct Street Fighter EX plus Alpha Skullgirls (natch) Super Smash Bros (N64) I tend to...

Sorry for the double post, but this doesn't really fit with my last one. Right, but at least MLK distanced himself from the extremists and openly voiced his disapproval of their actions, as opposed to just sweeping them under the rug and claiming that "not all Civil Rights Advocates are like...

3's my overall favorite thus far, but I also dig #8 and #6 as well. Can't wait until we get a closer look at Nos. 4 & 7. No. 7 looks especially interesting from what little we've seen.

Good man. I'm just wondering what the color scheme options are going to be. I don't know why but I picture Call E with sea-foam green hair, a blue and white uniform and maybe red eyes. And then I realize that was a lot like Pandora's color scheme, so I feel kind of ashamed for being so unoriginal.

LOL, is that really the only reason you like Call E, because stupid pun? Despite the fact that she's clearly the best design, just by the virtue of having enough of Call F's design without being a total knockoff of Roll?

I think that maybe the second phase of the Call design vote might kill off this subject, hopefully.

Feminism may not be a monolith, but it's also been simultaneously held as inherently good. That's what rubs me the wrong way about the whole thing. You can't claim that your movement has the moral high ground, and then wave off any controversial members of your groups by saying "feminism is not...

I've tried to stay neutral on this whole "Dina" thing, honestly. She really hasn't done anything yet, so I feel like it's too early to judge. But on the other hand, I've generally been fairly anti-feminist when it's come to the larger debate, probably due to the way the larger debate due to...

Just curious on opinions, rounds vs downs.

Why does it seem like a significant amount of people in this thread who claim they like the downs, but want them to "be balanced", don't actually understand the point of downs?

Just curious on opinions, rounds vs downs.

Eh, I wouldn't say that. I feel like rounds fit well in games with slower paces. The SF4 games would've been weird with downs.

I'm most fond of E myself, just because she looks enough like Call F without being a complete knockoff of Roll. She's got the two-toned hair we saw on Call-F and I'm incredibly fond of that more robotic expression she had, with the squared eyes. Oh well, as long as H doesn't win. Really don't...

Just curious on opinions, rounds vs downs.

Downs, for sure. I used to ignore 1v1 when it was just rounds, now I actively goad the friends I play online with to play 1v1s on occasion. I feel that if you have a game that has the potential to be played as a 2v2, 3v3 or some other permutation of those, you should go with downs over rounds...

Well, it's probably dead because there's been fairly little news in terms of the game itself, aside perhaps from the announcement that the final phase of the Call design contest starts on the 19th. Having said that, I replied on that thread, because I kind of agree with it.

Robo-Fortune: "Why Do I Feel Pain, Creator" edition!

I'm really digging the most recent head. I also think it's pretty much the final design, because it also appeared in Ms. Fortune's Steam trading card art.

    Ask Ravidrath...!

He might be referring to the console versions. Did they ever patch it out of those?

[Update] Kinucakes gives us the first look at Eliza. Standing idle animation also revealed.

Also the fact that a great deal of LZ's time was spent working on the PC version of the game. Since the PC version's done and the only real work being done on it at this point is converting it to Mac and Linux, they're better able to focus on finishing Big Band.

    Audio Skullgirls Official OST

I've always been fond of The Seat of Power, but Where Money Flows Like Water may have dethroned it as my favorite stage theme. I also like The Lives We Left Behind, Skull Heart Arrhythmia, Moonlit Melee, The Fish Man's Dance, In A Moment's Time and both Clear Breeze and Destiny In Her Hands...

Under Night In-Birth developers interested in adding a Skullgirls character to the roster!

Still speculating, but it seems pretty obvious who it's gonna be.
