    Shin Megami Tensei and Persona

No just the people who are screaming that Fire emblem has to be rigid and follow their ten commandments and never attempt to appeal to wider audiences because god knows that's how companies make money.:PUN: I mean I know that Atlus didn't give what they were implying in that trailer but come...

UNDERTALE; A wacky throwback for EARTHBOUND/MOTHER fans!

Her Story is none of this, Just so you know. If the game awards did matter then I don't think it should win best RPG(I'd give that to Bloodborne with Witcher 3 being a close second.) Can't speak for the other two categories because I haven't played half of the games nominated in either one.

UNDERTALE; A wacky throwback for EARTHBOUND/MOTHER fans!

I played Her Story after buying it during the black friday sale. While the story is interesting, the way it tells the story is MILES behind Undertale in my opinion. (Example being that the world of Undertale is elaborated on multiple playthroughs as well as taking advantage of certain RPG...

UNDERTALE; A wacky throwback for EARTHBOUND/MOTHER fans!

Her story is a "detective" game where your gameplay is searching a police database with keywords to piece together a story.

UNDERTALE; A wacky throwback for EARTHBOUND/MOTHER fans!

Flowey actually mentions this during the genocide run. Quotes: "those pathetic people that want to see it, but are too weak to do it themselves" "I bet someone like that's watching right now, aren't they...?"

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Hey it's okay if tenoch is more like Wakka. Wakka had enough arm strength to throw the blitzball so hard it crushed bones and annihilated galaxies.

    Help Advertise Indivisible!

I think one of the issues is the price to backer ratio. If we look at the stats regarding finished campaigns it is: Now look at Indivisible: Indivisible's COG tier:30$ Backers: 8,453(as of 10/30/2015 at the halfway point) Assuming that everyone who was interested in the game bought only this...

    Help Advertise Indivisible!

There's a lot of....whining about why it isn't on Kickstarter which is weird considering that you don't need an account you just pay through paypal.

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

It's stated on the devblog that skullgirl backers will recieve the prototype build a few days before it is publicly released. Supposedly the crowdfund will be started simultaneously with the public release.

    The Steven Universe Thread! [SPOILERS]

except that cartoons are usually finished way before they're aired so it most likely made the cut before the ruling.

    The Steven Universe Thread! [SPOILERS]

I have no idea what you're freaking out about but when I said new facets I mean parts of the gems that we as an audience didn't know and were introduced to during the show. NOT that this development literally came up and birthed right on your doorstep.

    Shin Megami Tensei and Persona

I think the main issue with Junpei isn't that he lacks character growth, but that most of it is all crammed into the second-half(last-third?) of the game. Junpei just stays as a dude who is jealous of you and self-loathes for too long to really show who he is, and by the time you reach the end...

    The Steven Universe Thread! [SPOILERS]

TLDR(As I see it, Ruin can correct me later): Episodes are too short for all this supposed emotional depth. If you want to make gems have new characterization/introduce new facets of their personality, don't cram it all into an 11 minute episode at least use two. Emotional whiplashing all...

    Shin Megami Tensei and Persona

I always considered relateable characters to mean characters that don't jar with the sense of reality. Characters that act like real people and react appropriately to certain topics. You don't need to Feel their pain but you should feel that if they were a real person they would act more or...
