    General Eliza nub questions.

I try to steer clear of j.HP because of the slow start-up, but instead use j.LK > j.MK. If you're under pressure, just push block and re-gain your composure. When it comes to zoners, I tend to send Double out (HP Hornet Bomber) and then Throne of Isis or Weight of Anubis to surprise your...

Feedback/Suggestions needed for improving AI in Skullgirls

I'd love an increased AI that goes beyond Nightmare, but on par with fighting a top-tier opponent. I want a CPU that makes me regret making mistakes and find solutions to fix those problems.

    USA NorCal/SF Bay Area Skullgirls

Any Sacramento folks want to meet up and level up our SG game? If I can get enough players, maybe we could meet up at the fighting game club at UC Davis.

    General Eliza nub questions.

I mean, he's 100% correct with his statement. My team was originally Valentine and Double, but as of Eliza's release, Val has been replaced with Eliza. The only way you can truly learn a new character is to go into training mode and experiment for hours and sometimes even days. It took me more...

    Skullgirls Stage & Background Discussion

Sure, Maple Crest gets much love from me, but it doesn't compare to the amazingly awesome Grand Cathedral. What's better than duking it out in the middle of a church to beautifully crafted music?

Quick Question About Snapping Back Dead Characters

That's a smart way to look at how to deal with the situation, but like you said, no one really uses Val's revive so it shouldn't matter. Welp. I guess the decision is official. Might as well not waste meter for a tactic such as this.

Quick Question About Snapping Back Dead Characters

Noob question incoming. Does it seem right that you can kill a character and then snap them out before the next character in line enters? I only ask this because I was playing against a team of two with Valentine in it and killed the point and snapped them out. For some reason I thought they...

    Beginner Questions Thread

@Arcana @Merlock Thanks for the assistance, guys. I've been in the lab with Eliza a bit over the holiday break and I was wondering if this is a solid reset.

    Eliza Assist Discussion

Looking at this now, I'm considering using Eliza (H. Osiris Spiral) now to lock-down my opponent. Doesn't H. Osiris Spiral leave the opponent in the same position compared to Butcher's Blade which pushes them back a bit?

    Eliza Assist Discussion

My go to assist with Eliza is Butcher's Blade. If it's timed right Sekhmet will come out and adsorb hits and then deliver the hits and give me enough time to covert the assist into more damage; I love that move so much. I run with Eliza on point and Double as my anchor with the Hornet Bomber (H)...

Question: Do you folks have any tips for practicing resets in training mode?

Noob about to quit SG for good. (how long till "git gud"?)

I honestly wouldn't mind this and it's something I would constantly work towards ranking up. My only current complaint is that if I currently play online, I'll eventually join the ranks on the PSN Leaderboard, but if I get busy and don't play, I'll no longer be on that list. I feel if there was...

    Introduce Yourself!

Hiya, folks! The name's Sauce Fonda and I love Skullgirls and beer. In my spare time I play a ton of RPGs, do a bunch of design projects, and drink beer. So if you're in the Sacramento region and need design, and or want to drink and play SG. Let me know 'cause I'm your man!

    Animated Versus Screen Introductions

I've always been a fan of awesome versus screens, such as, Persona 4 Arena and Marvel vs. Capcom. I was wondering if it was possible to implement a versus screen to introduce the fighters other than the loading screen that we've become accustomed to. Nothing would bring me more joy than seen...

Realistically what do you think Skullgirls' life span is after the last DLC?

I hope it last forever. It seems like the PC crowd will be around, but (from experience) the PSN crowd will only show up when a new character is released. I can NEVER find a match online a couple weeks after a new character is released.

Noob about to quit SG for good. (how long till "git gud"?)

@HodgyHype Do what I did when the game first came out. I'd just play the game on the hardest difficulty, 5 team rounds, infinite time, and would just grind. I believe the AI in SG is solid enough to train off of to a certain point where I can go online and hold my own and at least end a session...

    Eliza Matchup Thread.

This might be a newbie question, but what is a solid way to figure out match-ups? In SF4, my friend would have the CPU fight a CPU for ten matches and base it off of that. I'd love to figure out Eliza's match-ups since she's playing point on my team now.

    Valentine Combo Thread

This combo is so real, bruh bruh.

Why do some people consider Valentine a bad character?

I wouldn't necessarily call Valentine a bad character, I think she's quite amazing; key reason why she's leads my team. With that being said, I don't think Val has solid assists compared to the rest of the cast. Other than that, she's a solid character, especially with what I've seen with her...

How do you taunt in this game more superficially how do you do valentines taunt?

When your opponent is down, just stand over them and rapidly press down over and over. EDIT: Nevermind. I just noticed that @CaioLugon said, "Crouch repeatedly".
