This is the concept art for her stage. I think sharing a VA with a previous character isn't too noticeable since Sekhmet's VA is different from Eliza's and thus not the "main" voice for the character.

It would be fitting for Marie to be by herself on the bottom/top row (at least for now depending on if there are any more characters afterwards) seeing how she is the final boss and titular character.

Presumably she’d actually use the vacuum cleaner that has done not one single thing for the past ten years. Also I see her as being a projectile focused character.

She has a surprising amount of lines relating to Marie, more than most other characters do aside from maybe Peacock.

Out of curiosity, why did you think they’d wait until Season 2 to release Marie? If anything, she feels like technically the least likely character for a season 2 simply because the only reason they wouldn’t add her in the first season is if they made a conscious decision not to add her at all...

Maybe it'll end with a wish on the skullheart, which hasn't happened in a story mode since the base roster.

I was expecting them to do a write up post like Umbrella got on steam when she was announced talking a bit about what the plans were for her gameplay currently, but maybe they’re just waiting until a bit later to do that.

Thought it would be nice to have a thread for this now that the next DLC character has been revealed. They haven't posted anything yet about her current planned playstyle but she does have a description from a while ago about potential gameplay.

I didn’t mean that they were actually working on them already, just that maybe this could be their way of showing what characters they’re considering for the future without explicitly stating that’s what they’re doing.
