Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Were they able to fix it? I'm surprised resending the survey to your e-mail didn't work. Make absolutely sure you entered the same e-mail you backed with on IGG, because that's usually what the issue is. I don't think people should ever crowdfund beyond what's practical for them. If owning a...

    Indivisible Lore Index/Dicussion

Right, or Mana Fortress! That makes me really excited to hear Kikuta's music for it. That's pretty likely. I think these concepts they've shown before were for the Iron Kingdom: Definitely a cool looking environment. Those staggered rooftops and elevated bridges look like they could make for...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Heyyy, we were just talking about the Beta earlier today! Perfect timing! ...maybe too perfect... I like that they're giving people a breakdown of the mechanics changes early. I actually think one of the most interesting things shown here are the new UI changes. I really like the idea of...

    Indivisible Lore Index/Dicussion

Yeah, Mike said they were aiming for summer when he was asked about it on the MeleeEveryday stream a few months ago, and recently Peter's said they're working on stuff for it, so we'll see how it goes. It'll be cool to see Ajna finally explore outside of the Prototype level. Bringing that back...

    Indivisible Lore Index/Dicussion

Yeah, I want to see where the Golath fit in too. They seem like the closest thing to a neutral party, but with all of these different wars happening around them, I wonder if they might be resorting to their own plans of survival. I also wonder if they're affected by things like the...

    Yooka-Laylee: AKA Banjo-Kazooie 3

Wow, I'm surprised you wrote this, dude. I'm not really a huge fan of "Collect-A-thons" either, but calling the formula "best forgotten" is a big stretch, don't you think? Especially considering the types of games you and I still enjoy. I mean, Yooka-Laylee's quality aside, it just never seems...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

I like it a lot. It's a similar scene to the screenshot from the Dark Rainforest video, but now you can see how much flexibility they have with the mood lighting too. Both scenes seemed to be made entirely using the modulated setpieces, which is even better. They've come a long way with those...

    Indivisible Lore Index/Dicussion

Well, supposedly one of the big motivations for the Iron Kingdom's spread is to fortify the world against Kala, and that probably includes fighting against forces like Ravannavar's army. So from Ajna's point of view, the Iron Kingdom might look like the good guys, at least from the beginning.

    Indivisible Lore Index/Dicussion

Kind of. Although, from the lore we know, there doesn't seem to be a "Fire Nation" yet. The most immediate threat to Ajna's home at the beginning is from her own region, so that's like shuffling the start of TLA with the Water Nation's civil unrest from Korra S2. It'll be interesting to see if...

    Shovel Knight is out.

Just gave Specter a whirl last night as well. I only had time to play through a couple of levels, but the first thing I did was actually climb that Challenge tower area. I always get focused on minigames like that, but it's a pretty fun excursion that also got me familiar with the controls. I...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Looking at that screenshot with the new team members, the first thing that came to my mind was, "Holy crap, Phoebe's gonna be huuuge!" On that note, it seems as if the characters' battle positions might even have been shifted slightly for that reason.

    Skullgirls Mobile General Discussion

They initially talked about the possibility of new characters when they announced the game at AX last year. Now you can just flip to where it's mentioned in the FAQ thread though.

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Heruka's always looked beastly, but giving the form it's own weapons too will be like the icing on the cake. I wonder if that might be connected to how Ajna uses abilities like the exploding arrows? Also, it looks like campaign pace has slowed down a lot since we hit the VO goal. It's probably...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

I agree, something that's really cool about the image is that the BG in the scene is still made using mostly BG pieces we've already seen from other screenshots. However, the way they've combined the pieces, along with the new lighting and shadow effects, creates a very different look and feel...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Nah we get you. We're all pretty excited too, but yeah, it's definitely smarter to hold reasonable expectations for now. Personally I'm keeping myself in the camp of "If it's at least the Prototype, but bigger, I'm good." Not everyone would consider that a masterpiece, but I'd still be having a...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

Both games appeal heavily to people nostalgic for PS1-era gaming though. Back then it was pretty common to see a fan of a game like SOTN also enjoy a lighter toned RPG like BOF3 or FF9, and vice versa. Under the hood, there could be a lot of similar tastes there, particularly in regards to stuff...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

That survey probably helped 505 out a lot. They hadn't really tapped Indivisible's supporters yet to find out what kind of gamers we were, so now they're probably starting to gather analytics on how and where to best market the game closer to release. It's possible that Indivisible might be...

Indivisible: Lab Zero's Action-RPG! (General Discussion)

We're at the point where that Stretch Goal just looks like a massive tease right now. The current gap is only a little over $2k, and we've seen post-campaign get way more than that in a week, especially when a big announcement drops. I think they made around $6k on the week that they first...

    Talk About Ren?

Not necessarily. Ajna might pick up the kusarigama elsewhere, and finding Ren might just let her unlock a secret special ability with it.
