The old nom combos involved a version of that where you just did two HK Axe kick loops off nom. Glt had it posted somewhere. It was inconsistent as hell, and it was made harder by the fact that nom hits your opponent in all sorts of weird ways and it's hard to get the proper HK xx HK El Gato...

People need to realize how good this is. You get corner carry AND a full combo that you can do resets/burst baits off of. I've had a lot of trouble finding things to do off nom. There are some good resets/anti-mash setups you can do off of it, but for the most part the only options for combos...

I think it's really important to start pushing for attendance at DTN and also trying to get something going on the West Coast (which is why I've been pushing for Anime Ascension so hard). Frostys, CEOTaku, and Combobreaker always get good numbers so those are locks for support. NWM is too but...

My thinking was, we got the community to rally and support NEC before. We could do that with another Northeast event, might as well be Defend the North. I'll be going to DTN.

If we could show Defend the North we want to make that the East Coast (northeast) tournament to focus on, would they be able to give us more stuff next time? Main game status, stream time, etc?

Any more feedback on Anime Ascension? Also, what is the East Coast tournament the community is wanting to support? If we could rally behind Defend the North, would they be able to bump us up to a tier 1 game in the future? Is it worth trying to talk to Big E again about NEC? @dekillsage...

Wasn't Anime Ascension being advertised on Revelator's main menu featured events for awhile? I think that would be a great home for Skullgirls, and it would probably be pretty easy to convince them to run it. It's also not the same month as any other tournaments, which is always a good thing...

I didn't even realize that SCR was moving to esports arena. I've heard not great things about the management of Valle's tournaments though. Are there are any other multi-day events in that area that I'm not aware of?
