POLL: Keep Fukua in the game?

This is one of the things I love most about Skullgirls. The fact that Mike Z posts soo much on these forums just tells me that this game is an absolute gem. I love a game with heart behind it.

"If"? You sounded pretty confident before. :P

POLL: Keep Fukua in the game?

I'm pretty sure most of the people who voted yes AND no backed the indiegogo campaign, myself included... Really, I'm in the credits.

POLL: Keep Fukua in the game?

Well, don't they have to for "Beowulf!" "Robo-Fortune!" and "Eliza!"?

POLL: Keep Fukua in the game?

Bringing up the "Selection quote" again in case Mike didn't see it. I think a lot of this "Confusing her with Filia" could be fixed if the announcer said "Fukua!" when someone picks her. Dunno how hard that would be to do.

POLL: Keep Fukua in the game?

Excuse me, Mike, but I must ask, besides giving her an 'aura' of sorts to differentiate her from Filia, I think a lot of people would view her in a better light if her name was said by the announcer when she was picked, just for another bit of clarification. Think she may get this?

POLL: Keep Fukua in the game?

Ever since I met Mike Z on Shoryuken, I knew he'd be my hero.

I think people undermine the important of palette swaps in the history of video games. You know two famous video game characters who started as palette swaps? Ken Masters and Luigi.

Also, dunno if Cynical realizes this, but characters ship with bugs all the time. Take Spinal in Killer Instinct. When he first came out, if you got someone in a corner and tried to teleport behind them, the damn game crashed.

POLL: Keep Fukua in the game?

Honestly, I'm thankful that Lab Zero made her free. I dunno if this has changed, but in Killer Instinct, Xbone's big fighting game at the minute, the only way to get the recolored character out of a roster of pretty damn unique characters, was to get the deluxe addition, which costs a good sum...

POLL: Keep Fukua in the game?

Honestly, she's really no different than Shadow Jago from Killer Instinct. Yes, she's a recolor, but just like Shadow Jago, they could in theory build on her in the future like they're doing with him.

POLL: Keep Fukua in the game?

Fukua has a unique idle stance which is different than Filia's, so there's also that.

POLL: Keep Fukua in the game?

The only thing she needs is different select art and a portrait, then people will stop complaining that you can't tell the difference. As for me? Obviously yes. I love Skullgirls, and the more the merrier. Lab Zero is one of the best developers I've ever had the pleasure of backing during the...
