After resetting to a save state, total combo damage becomes inaccurate

It might be difficult to see due to compression, but that's actually -480 damage. The negative sign in the font is extremely small and blends in with the background, probably because the damage display was never meant to display negative values.

This is especially annoying if you have health set to refill, because the displayed combo damage will be inaccurate and the only way to know how much damage you did is to look at the enemy's health bar, which will reset once the combo is over.

The only solution to this is to keep resetting until the damage display corrects itself.

EDIT: If it means anything, this bug really only appeared after I reset to a save state during j.mp or j.lp.
