This Saturday, July 11th 2015, top Skullgirls players from across the solar system will clash in a battle extreme neutral on SKULLGIRLS: SECOND ENCORE PERSONAL COMPUTER EDITION at 6 pm Pacifist Standard Time for the Second Annual Fugazi Championship Edition Uninvitationals.
What do I get if I win?
- The satisfaction of knowing you're the best! This all inclusive satisfaction package also comes with a complimentary Digital Belt (from the grasp of the reigning champion and resident meanie @Luweewu ) , and a copy of Freedom Planet for Steam.
Where can people watch me win?
- At http://www.twitch.tv/fizzxwizz featuring the voice talent of me and possibly anyone else that cares to join me. During the normal "shirt n keychain shilling" time, expect guest appearance by THE WHEEL , which will be using its judgement to decide the terrible game prize that a lucky stream viewer will be awarded for answering an important lore question correctly in chat.
What do I get if I lose?
- You get to watch the person you lost to win!
What other things will I see?
- Besides nerds getting blown up on stream, and bad videogames being given away, expect there to be several stages of combat with enhanced digital graphics. The stages from last event will most likely be present, but keep your eye out for new challengers such as Dewritos Baja Blast Final Atrium.
What are the rules of this anyway?
- The rules are as follows. Your team will be two characters, bella and double, in any order you choose, using the assists titan knuckle and fugazi knuckle. The only two moves you are allowed to hit your opponent with are Titan Knuckle and Fugazi Knuckle, you are able to use any tool accessible to you as long as it doesn't make contact with the opponent. Hitting your opponent with any move that isn't those two (blocked or otherwise) means your opponent gets a free titan knuckle on you. You are obligated by honor to comply, though I'm gonna play it like boxing and just let it slide if you forget to get hit until you do it enough to be a problem.
- There is also a "shot clock" in effect. This hasn't had to be enforced yet, but to prevent someone from getting one hit and then downbacking the rest of the match in the corner, you gotta look alive or face the consequences.
- The tournament will be held in Single Elimination 2/3 matches, at least until the playercount gets to a point where that would take too long to stream every match, at which point the tournament will switch to Best of 1. In either situation, every match will be streamed and Grand Finals will be 3/5.
