Hitbox Arena has joined forces with the organizers of GameaCon to bring you HBA's first major event...
Do or DI

Together, they are excited to bring Smash and FGC competitive gaming back to Atlantic City, but this time, in addition to offering Melee, PM, Smash 4, SFV and MKX, we are adding 3 other hype games...Skullgirls, Guilty Gear and YES...Rivals of Aether.

*We are in the process of raising $10k in pot-bonus money for this event. As we confirm sponsors, we will list them here!

Important update regarding the pot bonus:

Until a sponsor is forthcoming for following games we will requiring a 32 player minimum to ditribute the listed pot-bonus below. Once a legitiment sponsor has been secured, the minimum will be lifted. Thank you.

To be fair, the entire event has 52 entrants total and the most entrants a non-smash game has is 3 (SFV) so in that context its less surprising. But hey, at least we're beating marvel

Skullgirls has been dropped from Do or DI due to low entrants.

I guess, now it's just nothing lol. To be fair four other games also were dropped due to low entrants, including Marvel. I think Hitbox might have tried to be too ambitious for the first one of these, might have wanted to stick to just Smash.
