- Mod Info
As the name says, this little mod downscales the 2D backgrounds to a quarter of the original resolution, I made this months ago because this is the only way I can play Skullgirls at fully stable 60FPS (yeah, I can move GTA IV at 60 FPS but not Skullgirls), maybe for someone, this comes handy, that's all for this thread, see ya'll later.
- Comparison
- Installation
It's quite simple, actually.
1.- Have SkullMod & the mod file prepared (You can get the latest SkullMod from my other post)
2.- Locate the game root folder
( This can be achieved in Steam, right-click your game > Manage > Browse local files )
3.- Locate the file
4.- Drag & drop the file
Let it finish, because it will take a while, once done, you can proceed
5.- Now you should have this folder
6.- Now, open another explorer window, locate the mod file, extract the
7.- Enter the folder once, you will see another folder named
( sorry, it's in spanish, but yeah, move and replace all files )
8.- Once moved & replaced, go back in the game root (where the other gfs files are located), and drag & drop the
9.- Then, the gfs file size now must be incredibly small, compared to the original one, since i reached the maximum attachable files lol, i will leave here a KB comparison:
Modified GFS size:
Original GFS size:
10.- Then, delete the modified
11.- Profit?
That´s all for this thread, thanks for reading and see ya'll later!
Update v1.1:
- Added Boardwalk stage
Update v1.2:
- Added Preinstalled version (just the .gfs file!)
