After reading the general discussion, I can see some people are really for Fukua staying in the game, some are really against it.

Since Mike said her inclusion is based on community response, let's just make a yes no poll to make things easy for him and they can see how many of us want her. :3

Yes because it would be hilarious to have an April Fools gag turn out real for once.

To be honest I think it might be too soon to ask that question now. At the moment everyone is super hype and of course answers "yes!". Let the emotions cool down, reason take over and all that. Ask in a week.

in my opinion, as she was designed as a april fool's character, she is not 100% balanced.
However, some people are still saying she should not exist at all and I just wanted to gauge opinion.
 
I agree that now might not be the time to be making a firm decision, but also keep in mind that if she ends up being broken it's relatively easy to just ban her from tournaments (not sure what you'd do about online, though).

fwiw, I voted yes.

Thing is, she is significantly different than Filia, much more so than your average shoto clone. Based on that alone, I'm more than happy to have her on the roster. I imagine they might come behind and clean things up a bit, but seriously, this is a new character to me.

The main question is: Do we want to keep her for the sake of having a joke character in SG or is Fukua actually a fun concept that's worth ironing out?

Why the hell would you want this character to not be in the game? It's a free character that's basically done outside of the possible balancing that will come as needed. I don't even care about her and I had to say yes because I'm a fan of more characters.

Fukua started as a joke response to a typo, her backstory contains several jokes, and she was released on the day known for jokes.

So yes, she's a joke.

Should we keep her? YES, because she's probably one of the best lethal joke characters of all time, and I love her so much.

(She could probably do for a rebalance, though)

I'm ok with her being the OP boss character of Skullgirls, like Shin Akuma. OP boss characters are not only a fun extra but it sells to the casual side of fighting game players. It's one of those things that people talk a lot and have fun telling others how broken it is.

As a real playable character? Sure, after all the IGG ones are done and Mike can properly balance her playable version.

Fukua should stay in just based on her awesome name itself. She also reminds me of the Clayfighters 2 mirror characters.

1. She plays completely different
2. One of the criticisms levied had SG is the size of its cast.
3. She isn't preventing any other character from coming out.
4. More zoning in this game is a good thing.
5. I can't see any downside at all to keeping her in the game.

could some one that voted no explain why? I truly don't knowm why any one would not want her, she is a free character that dosnt detract form any others, I would like to know their opinions

The people who voted no are probably just trolling since they may not actually have the game themselves. If they did they would speak up and say why she shouldn't be in.

I love everything about this character....from her hilariously out of nowhere release, to the speedy coding done to make her, and the very blatant jab at people defending capcom. This character is pure win

As long as we aren't paying for her & we arent getting her in place of Eliz, Beowulf or Robofortune, i'll all for her.
 
I just think she needs a few tweaks to her damage and visuals. Her lvl 3 is not as impactful as the others and her command trows look kinda weird.
I vote for keeping her in the beta for tunning and releasing for real later.
I mean she is fun so why the hell not?

For a "Clone" Character Fukua is extremely fun. I just love how Mike Z and Lab Zero poked fun at Street Fighter's Decapre.

-Robo-Fortune is coming and probably is going to be better due to the practice off of Fukua so yeah should get used to it for at least two characters. Also, Double.

-Look at dat idle son. And intro. And the character icon for Filia is Samson's face but upside down. Fukua's is Samson's face upside up.

I don't think she is broken. from what i've seen the command grab is very slow and you can easily sweep if you notice your hits are getting armored. You could even dp as well as other things if for some reason you can't sweep. Her normals are terrible, she has no air invul supers aside from lvl3, and she has to use double jump and projectiles to get in. The only broken thing I see, is that crumple state super. its a bit too hard to punish

That only helps if she's on point. Otherwise, you have to go by the lifebar portrait, which is a big problem for a palette swap.
 
I hope this means Annie will be accompanied by Anais when she's released.

I'd be okay with her just being an EX character. The stuff she's got is too funny to later become balanced. lol
