SG doesn't recognize fightstick on Mac

So I've been playing Skullgirls regularly on the Xbox but since now It's Mac compatible I've decided to get it on steam since that's where most of my friends play. I dowloaded the Xbox 360 Controller Driver (Vr. 0.15 beta 3) and it recognizes my fightstick in the controller test, but when I go in-game, it does not recognize/show up in the "choose controller" menu. It's a Street Fighter IV Arcade Fightstick TE by MadCatz. Help/advice would be appreciated, thanks.
