PC Beta SG stop responding after leaving the window

If I leave the SG window, whether alt-tab or by selecting something else when in windowed mode, SG stops responding. It doesn't leave a full on crash though.

I am able to access the steam overlay stuff, just nothing else

EDIT: and now it seems it was a windows update messing with things. I'm leaving the thread in case it crops back up again, but it seems to be working
