Steam - Windows Skullgirl's crashes after selecting characters in an online lobby

Earlier this year around when big band was the newest character I was able to play online with a friend in the lobby, now something happened and whenever I try to select my character the frame rate lags then when finally the character is selected it closes my steam and crashes my skullgirls client, no searches online have this same problem, at least none I could find
