Hey guys, DoubleDark on /r/skullgirls has been running single elimination tournaments for new and/or inexperienced players every other Sunday or so at 7PM EST (4PM PST) on PC. Here is a link to the rather sparse Reddit thread. This is the fourth tournament he's run and the last few times I've observed/played have been pretty swell. If you're interested you'll want to sign up on Challonge and join the Steam group.
On the day of the tournament you're going to want to report in the Steam chat at the time listed above, and pay close attention for when you're called for your match. The matches will all be streamed and shoutcasted on DoubleDark's twitch channel! Rules for the tournament are a best of three setup until the grand finals, which will be a best of five. These tournaments a great way to meet other players around your own personal skill level and get feedback from more experienced players, so I can't help but recommend them.
