ULTIMATE SHOWSTOPPER
AND NOW FOR SOMETHING SPECTACULAR!

In partnership with Eightysixed, I am pleased to announce a new stream series hosted by myself and ElkyDori, where skulligans hungry for the taste of competition and sweet, sweet victory clash to prove they're the coolest kid on the schoolyard. Skullbats is still a thing and totally needs some more love, so we're bringing you some of the best matches we can wrangle from it and streaming them live and in color straight to your eyeballs!

Skullbats usually goes five rounds, so we're going to be streaming two matches per round to get a grand total of ten matches a week for those of you who don't care about basic arithmetic.

Check out this thread for all the information you need about how to get in on Skullbats!

Once consoles have lobbies, it would be possible to make this happen, though my lack of a capture card makes it sort of an impossibility to run on my end.

I did some thread housekeeping to avoid confusion. All the posts pertaining to the previous organization of the event are gone, now. Everyone be fruitful and enjoy the new format :)

Nice idea guys. SkullBats should make for a very interesting stream, since there's lots of people playing and lots of matches going all at once. And there is never any shortage of Salty players in the chat :PUN:

The tournament idea seems more and more likely at this point. Probably won't take more than, like, 16 people if we do that.

I think we're just going to stick with our usual format instead of trying to organize something out of the ordinary on the fly during a holiday weekend so USS will be off the air this weekend, returning with our regularly-scheduled programming on June 1st!

I am pleased to report that, thanks to the high amount of public demand from the likes of Dagwood here, we will be bringing Ultimate Showstopper back a FULL MONTH earlier than we originally planned. Expect the hypest Skullbats matches brought to you live on JUNE 1st! I have edited the original post to reflect this scheduling change.

Kinda already sold myself on taking the week off. Preheating the oven, downloading a game, super exhausted from work. I may have just been looking for an excuse. Sorry!
