Gonna copy/pasta what I saw about the production cast, as they're going to Kickstarter to try and get I'm guessing a pilot episode going, and not gonna lie, got a bit of a chubby going on. It looks promising, but kind of a lofty goal.

Director - Masahiro Ando: Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell (all of them), Jin-Roh, Sword of the Stranger
Character/Mech Design - Yusuke Kozaki: No More Heroes, Fire Emblem: Awakening
Producer - Hiroaki Yura: Haruhi, Steins; Gate
Story - Jiro Ishii: 428, 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors
Studio - Kinema Citrus: ex-Production I.G Staff, so Ghost in the Shell, Eureka Seven, etc.
CG - Orange: Ghost in the Shell, Last Exile, Macross Frontier, Code Geass, Evangelion reboot

Hoping this becomes a thing because it caught my interests, just spreading the word.

Bumping for announcement:

As of this posting there are about 60 hours left in the Kickstarter and it has funded over 613k, making it a success despite a very slow couple of weeks.
Also, the show is also being endorsed by Hideo Kojima (yes, the same dude that did Metal Gear Solid and Zone of Enders)

Yeah those CIA guys are putting in work. First project phoenix got like 1.2 million and this seems like it will hit a good chunk as well. I was in since day ten and man was it exciting watching it reach it's goal today. Help this go further gentlemen.

I was really interested in this until I saw the guy who created Hamatora was working on the screenplay. Enthusiasm dropped like a rock.

I wasn't interested because the protagonist looked like a typical gunslinging Mary Sue, albeit with fashion sense.
However, Masahiro Ando as a director and an endorsement by Hideo Kojima makes this look much better.
I'll throw some cash towards it.
