WB Games: Why do they run so bad?

Injustice runs in slow-motion. MK Collection doesn't even work. Scribblenauts was crashing on me until I reinstalled. Now Batman: Arkham City is running shitty enough to be unplayable. I know my computer is a fucking abacus, but I usually don't have a problem running most games at least enough so that they're playable. WB Games. I dunno what it is but my computer pukes them up like a bunch of 10 years old getting off of a roller coaster at Magic Mountain... Anyone else encounter this phenomenon or can perhaps offer some advice?

(Please don't tell me to get a new rig, I can't even finance a trip to McDonald's right now.)

I'm in the same boat as you. Mortal Kombat 9 runs horribly or not at all on my PC.
And yes, I just ungraded my PC last summer.
