Nintendo Switch

you can, check this, turn them off and just play it like 64 with no gimmicks
Yeah, but I'll bet the game is designed and balanced around them, the option to turn them off won't be anything more than an afterthought that I doubt will feel as polished as 64. They also didn't say whether you can play online, story mode, or other game modes that way.

I'd honestly rather have Crash in PSASBR 2, whenever that comes out.
I don't know if we'd ever get Crash in Smash, despite the pun and how mindblowing that'd be.
It'd be cool, but unlikely.

well you could always git gud at the other modes then because hey guess what
you can negate any special shot in the game by using a block at the right time

skill and precision to balance out power moves, wow!

just do it like the decapre reveal but instead it's Reggie condemning the forsaken third parties into eternal hellfire until The Chosen One comes before him
the one third party to rise above the rest

that's right I'm talking about

latest

Blinx the Time Sweeper Cat

Not that I can think of personally, some people prefer the pro controller, but personally I like having both joycons in my hands just because I like moving my hands around while still being able to play.

I imagine they also are talking about Star Fox Zero.
I wouldn't mind the motion controls getting ripped out of that either.

That's... only really saving $30. And does it even take Tax into account? Because if it does, then that's only saving $10
Decent deal, but it came at a poor time for me.
Oh well.

Fair enough, but at the same time this is probably going to be one of the best deals on a switch until Black Friday and the smash season. And even then at black Friday and smash season time you'll probably have to strangle a dozen people just to get your hands on one, if there is a price drop.

Hey, so. Finally buying a Switch at some point this month, but I'm not sure if I should wait for a good Best Buy or Amazon deal for Labor day or something (I'm aware of the free 64GB card deal right now, but I'm paying for a commission at the moment), or if I should buy as soon as I'm able and not worry about deals so I can enjoy the free Switch online before it becomes the reasonably priced $20 a year model.

I can’t tell you what the best deal is, as I don’t know your financial or time situation.

However, I can reccomend waiting for a DANK deal. You can never be too frugal, and one or two more days without a Switch won’t kill you.

The only thing I would recommend is not waiting until Black Friday, there would be no guarantee it will be available.

Like I said I kind of WOULD LIKE To get it this month because the freeness of Nintendo's Online goes away mid-September, and I'm not sure if a free 64gb memory card is enough of a good deal or not

Just get the Switch now and then grab a memory card at a good price for cyber Monday/Black Friday.

There’s no way you’ll fill it before then. If you’re not filling it with a bunch of cheaper games that is.

I'll get it either this week or next and that should be enough time before the Online goes away, if there's deals then that's that.

Nintendo Direct at 3 p.m. Pacific/6p.m. Eastern on today the 6th of September. It's going to cover both 3DS and Switch games and updates.

I don't think we'll get TOO MUCH Smash News, maybe a new character and some echoes, but everything after that'll probably be new.
Maybe some more news on the Switch Online, hopefully.

Well we now have confirmation of how it's going to be controlled, though it seems like the control schemes changes gameplay as well. Hand held seems like a slightly changed version of the DS control scheme, the joycons seem like the partner is an assist that is ai controlled, and "co-op" seems to be a combo of the two with the partner having their own abilities.

Looking into getting a Switch Memory Card, are the MicroSDs not specifically made for the Switch still gonna work on any ole' Switch?
Because I know the Switch made MicroSDs are marked up 'cuz Nintendo but like. will regular non Switch Cards still work? I see some reports that there's some issues that could happen sooooooo.
