You still have to time the grabs correctly though, which can be a bit tricky if the opponent sees either Excellabella or Albus coming as an assist. You either have to grab them early or grab them late if they try to bait out your grab.

Just the animation when you brain come out through your nose, is so "ewww". i watched this movie days ago, in his time probabily was a great movie but now kinda "meeeeh". Try Audition(not sure about the name), i think is a asiatic one,but is kinda human centipede when we talk about "OH NOOOO!"-Joseph J.
Im out of my home so i still cant play the new patch, the sphinx sneeze make drip blood through your nose instead snot?if not,im leaving. *leaving*
 
That bit where her brain drops out her nose got to me a little too, but that probably has a lot more to do with the fact that I’ve been dealing with a sinus infection for a while than anything else.

It’s not like she pumps people full of blood until their body splits in half and their tits explode or anything. Everything seems pretty tame for somebody whose skeleton can rip itself free and fight on its own.


Man, Jedah was fun to watch..

Anywho, I don't see anything particularly unsettling about Eliza's move set. Crumple and hit states aside, most transformations have a very "clean", artistic flair about it and the colored c.MP well showed everything won't be colored blood red.
Double's far worse, with all the eyes and teeth popping about. That said, if you find Eliza that dismaying, y'all ain't ready for Venus.

could you try using her roar animation for those?
SEKHMET'S NOT GETTING FREAKIN' SUMMONS DROP IT.
And no, I would not give her three summons that are visually indistinguishable even if you weren't annoying.
 
It's a shame that Horace seems to be just off screen most times the time-out animation happens. Maybe if he stood behind Eliza as opposed to the side of her or something?
 
So to guess the supers remaining we have:

The Chariot
The Harpy Divebomb
The Counter Super

Also like I said, maybe the taunt is the for the Chariot as a buffed lounge chair command or the air grab but this one sounds unlikely.

Or maybe something new, but I don't remember new animations or concepts, except those bloddy hippos.

Personally, I still think the most unnerving animations belong to Painwheel. Standing HK is OUCH.

Since we're talking about coloring, I hope the summons get different suit colors for each palette.

(I'm compiling these in the L&S topic so that's the place to go if anyone wants to indulge the eyes.)

My humble guess on the missing Blockbusters:
1 - air grab dive bomb (air only)
2 - chariot trample (DHC only)
3 - sunlight spear (IIRC Mike mentioned the Blockbuster shared by the two of them would have faster start up if done by Eliza and the concept for that fits the bill...and, OK, it's easily my favorite of the concepts that still hasn't been seen in the game)
Please take into account I just got flat out NOPE'd by Mike Z after saying other moves might not follow the blood color pattern, so this is worth what it's worth.

Palettes #2, #6 and #7 have custom servant palettes, so I think it's safe to say all palettes will have those eventually.

You are correct... wow divekick has made osiris spin EVEN MORE redundant than I thought.

Like, first it took its spot in combos because you can chain out of divekick better and if you use it earlier, it scales better anyway.

but it is also easier to land during a string and +8 on block...

I hope this is not the end for Osiris spin, when people were calling it Doom Rocks I was getting excited but now I don't use it ever, even the HK version is bad in combos because you can do a full string into upper knats for more damage anyway.
 
Any chance that the Couch attack switch with the Albus grab?Dont know if is just me but the Couch one remember the egret bike grab and the Albus grab being a grab suit better in L.K.
 
I don't think the osiris spin will be useless at all, iirc it does massive chip damage and it also looks like it might be a true block string

can someone please check out if the dive kick is a true block string for me because i don't have skullgirls on stream, it looks like it isn't

It will combo. Also if you chain it to a move, its like +13 on block.

You have to use a heavy for divekick to be a true blockstring I'm pretty sure.

So going into Osiris Spin after a confirm on medium would work if they are waiting to pushblock the slow heavy... except:

Osiris Spin is way unsafe on block and the hitbox is tiny so it is only marginally useful as assist. (I'd pick Squigly or Cerebella for a similar assist every time)

Light Osiris Spin is -7, divekick is +8. Heavy Osiris Spin is -18!!!!
 
Divekick is not a real blockstring off any move, even heavies, on purpose. Also you only get one per combo.
At full scaling H twirl is still her most damaging special. And it does twice as much chip as the next-most-chip assist there is. Y'all are dumb.
And by y'all I guess I mostly mean Tomo. :^P
