[Dec 5, 2014] Northeast Championships 15 (NEC) (Essington, PA.)

@IsaVulpes was only wrong about wingzero versus fukuatwerkteam, and sage versus sonicfox after the bracket reset. I am impressed :o
 
That was a really good stream. Great plays, nice commentary, and there were actually people there!!

Okay, here's one thing I'm curious about: how did you guys get medals? SG wasn't in the official lineup. Did Big E have them made at the last minute, or did someone in the community pony up money to have them made ahead of time?
 
NEGUS did enter.

There were medals for first, second, and third. Don't know if they said skullgirls on them.

I was pretty sure we had 45, but if that's not what the challenge says then.

Also, I failed you Icky and rakurin. But i blame bella's j.hp vs filia.

Just got home from NEC. Pretty tired after a 3 hour drive, but had a pretty good time. Fuck the rain tho.

Before Skullgirls there was under 200, as soon as SG started there was 600+, then it settled at like 300-350 about 4-5 matches in.

It had around 760 at its peak.
 
When I got there, there was over 730 viewers. That Top-8 was godlike! Super fun stuff, thanks for the show guys!

In all seriousness, I was really surprised that I made top 8, especially in winners. I now have immense respect for people who can keep their composure when playing on a stage, because I don't think I finished a single combo during my top 8 run. Playing in front of so many people is a whole different beast.

Thanks everyone for cheering me on (party pythons included), I was more surprised by my results then you were <3


Still here, but I'll do shoutouts in a few days.

EDIT: I also have local reordings of some of the earlier matches, and I will upload them later this week when Finals are not eating me alive!

I hope everyone had a good time, please come again next year and try to keep showing up to events when possible.

I'll probably enter at ECT or whenever available, just needed a break...

Shoutouts to the commentary for the tournament, that was mad smooth! Actually it was really good to hype new viewers and connect them with the game. That man needs infinite love, and you too ken.
