The Official League of Legends Thread!

So I decided to check the League Boards to see if anyone else was asking about an Amumu VU.
Someone pointed out that Annie is listed on Amumu's champion page as a friend.
But because story/canonwise, the League has been retconned out, there is now no probable way for the two to have met.
So, Amumu has 0 friends in-canon now.
Awesome.

Wait what? I knew the Shurima update hacked apart his, and Rammus' lore but what is this about the league being retconned?
 
Riot is changing everyone's lore around now and then. Next will be J4 and Shyvana getting married for shits and giggles.

On the official forums, one of Riot's writers officially confirmed that the Institute of War (and the concept of Summoners) has been retconned out of existence because it was "too restrictive."

I just watched the video. Yeah, it's a new model. The current one is simular but this one's going to be done up better. Also With a new model, it'd give the animation team more flexabillity to animate him, as atm (to me atleast) he seems pretty stiff (no pun intended) like how Trist was.
 
checking the PBE, They got the next game mode ready: Nemesis Draft. Sounds.... tough...

edit: nothing else new really.

yo when is trist getting her new stuff? cuz I really like how she feels but I hate that giant turtle shell on her back and that jittery run.
 
sadly that's going to be near Mid Feb when the real Lunar festival is... if I'm guessing right (Firecracker Jinx and the warring kingdoms)

well then...ok I guess. I always liked the idea of just randomly pulling warriors from across time and space to duke it out but I guess they want to push the Noxus/Demacia/Shurima parts of Runterra beyond just an excuse plot.
 
Oh, I didn't know they retconned the League of Legends out of League of Legends. That explains why the lore is so boring these days.

you could always just buy her when she's on sale.
 
Getting 6300 IP isn't even that daunting of a task.
Play at least once a day, get the first win, play two-three games, profit.
And if you lost 4 times, just get it from Co-op.
 
160 IP from a 12-15 minute bots game...So that's....39 days playing only 15 minutes a day? Kinda long but that's what I used to do haha
 
I don't have all the time to play to get to 6300.

I feel it's fine to buy champs so long as you get them on sale.

^This. Every champion I have purchased since I got the game has been with IP. I don't even use RP minus the 400 or so I got for making an account.
 
I got Varus for free at Pax East last year.

They're running out of arrow champs for Heartseekers.

Next year we're totally getting either a scantily clad Valor or Twitch. Cross your fingers.
