I guess the real question now <assuming this is real> is "With Rayman being a 3rd Party character, will he get a stage as well, and if so then what?"

Considering that all the cut Melee characters besides Mewtwo were clones, and all the cut Brawl characters that weren't ICs or Snake were semi-clones, I doubt that they would want to anger the masses, especially after the fiasco that was DP, Lucina and Dr. Mario. Not saying that I would be mad about Roy or Lucas, but I would anticipate much whining on Reddit and Miiverse if they 'stole' DLC slots from Shadow or whatever.
 
Unless it was Roy, then people'd be crying 'Roy's our boy!" everywhere.. And then you'd also hear the other side of "Omg.. another sword user.."

Because there are far more requested and appropriate characters to pick from before Rayman. Like K. Rool, Wolf, Isaac, Marshall/Chorus Boys or if you want other 3rd Party characters: Ryu Hayabusa, Simon Belmont, Bomberman, a Squeenix character, (you can pick which one) and hell even Shantae is far more likely to get in before Rayman!

No offense but this kinda sounds like "this character got in before any of the characters that I like". Rayman had a pretty big game on the Wii U and he already had a model inside the game, if this is legit it makes sense how he got in already.
 
Hey, wasn't there some video that was a discussion about how the screenshot of the day's picture of Rayman and Ubisoft's picture were oddly different?

There's no chance that they were a dev that took it down because they were afraid they would lose their job, or someone who didn't expect it to spread like wildfire?
I mean, nobody's been able to disprove it by analyzing the video, so... esrb leak 2: electric boogaloo.

Only on a minor note. The real reason it irks me is that Ubisoft has become another EA lately and considering they've also been dropping Nintendo like a rock like the other 3rd Parties (let's not get into that right now) it's kinda insulting to give them special treatment in this scenario.

No they're not. Master Hand and Crazy Hand are really Glover and Cross Stitch, both of whom are extremely angry about their series being forgotten about.

Ubisoft has always been kind of shit but that doesn't make Rayman any less awesome
Those eyebrows are the most french thing this guy had
